With deep sorrow, we announce the death of our Mum Grace W. Nguri. Wife of Rtd-Senior Chief Canon Jotham Nguri Ngucu of Kirinyaga.

Mother of Dan Nguchu & Ruth, Faith & Igecha, Chris Munene & Margaret, Matu & Mary, Njiru & Jane, Pst Njagi & Judy, Pst Njeru & Mercy, J.Thiaka & Grace, Pst. Kangi & Roselyn and Rose Muthoni.

Sister of Jason, Miriam & Eunice Njoki (all late).  In-law to Thiakas Snr, Rukungas, Igechas, Muruthis, Kinyuas, Kinyanjuis, Nyagas, Kamaus,Warnbugus & Muchiris.

Auntie to Mathagus, Njirus, Gateris, Mukunyas, Mbuthias, Matus & Mathus. Grandma to 30 and great-grandma to 18.

The cortage leaves Lee funeral home on Friday 14th, July at 6.00 a.m for St. John’s ACK Church Kiangwenyi next to Kiagwenyi Secondary School. Thereafter, burial at her Kiangwenyi farm in Kirinyaga, 5 km from Kabare Girls High School along Kutus Kimunye road.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we sadly announce the passing on of our Sister in Christ Susan Wamaitha Kamau formally of Ministry of Defence which occurred on 8th July 2017 after a short bout of illness.

Beloved wife of the late Wisdom Nakhulo Ngaata. Mother of Valerie Diana Odini Ngaata. Daughter  of the late Anselem Kamau and the late Felisters Thuiya. Sister of Paul Thairu Kamau, the late Pauline Wangari Kamau, and the late Anthony Njuguna Kamau, Daughter in-law of Benjamin Nakhulo and the late Phanice Odini.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Athi-River Gimu Estate, at Holy Family Basillica and at Gachege in Gatundu North from 4.30 pm 7.00 pm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 14th July 2017 at 8.00 am for a funeral and burial service at her home in Gachege Village, Gatundu North, Kiambu County.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Sunrise Comfort Hotel (Embu) and at their residential home in Blue Valley at 5.00 pm. The cortege leaves Embu Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday 14th July 2017 at 8.00 am. Burial will take place at his home Mathaithi Village Karatina, Nyeri ,county.

There will be a requiem Mass at St. Lukes Catholic Church, Loitokitok town on Friday 14th July at 10.00am followed by burial in their farm next to Kilimanjaro Junior Academy, Loitokitok Town.

We regret to announce the sudden death of Leonard Kihobe Mbothu which occurred on 6th July 2017 at P.C.E.A Kikuyu Hospital after a short illness.

Son of the Late George Mbothu and Esther Wambui Mbothu. Brother of John Kamethu, Hannah Mwihaki, Rahab Njeri and Samuel Mungai. Husband of Grace Wanjiru Kihobe. Father of George Mbugua, Alex Kihuha, Alvin Mbothu and John Kamethu. The cortege leaves P.C.E.A Kikuyu Mortuary on Friday 14/07/2017 at 9:30am followed by funeral service at the family home Uthiru at 11am behind P.C.E.A Uthiru Church. Thereafter burial at his father’s farm in Gakobu near St. Joseph of Arimathea ACK Church.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden demise of Alice Njoki Gichuhi Maina following complications after child birth.

Wife of Victor Maina Kibe. Mother of Kiama, Thayu and Gakenia. Daughter of the late Francis Gichuhi Kamau and Rose Njeri Gichuhi. Daughter-in-law of Captain Boniface W. Kibe and Jeniffer Gathoni Kibe. Sister of Gladys Owino, Simon Gichuhi, and Susan Obooka. Sister-in-law of Ashford, Zenah, Owino, Wanjiku, Yvonne, Imelda, Kuria and Obooka.

Friends and family are meeting at Capt. Kibe’s residence at Kiamumbi Estate opp. Jacaranda Gardens and All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm. There will be a funeral service at ACK St. Simon Church Kia-Mumbi at 9.00 am followed by her burial on the family farm in Maragua Summer near Pioneer School on Friday 14th July 20 17.

Father-in-law of Teresa, Grace, Rose, Kendi, Jackie, Noel among others. Son-in-law of Mzee .Kemoni and Mama Nyaboke. Brother-in-law of Lucia Moraa, Nyaboke, Maria, Florence among others. The cortege leaves Umash Mortuary in Nakuru, on 13th July 2017 at 12:00pm for Molo. Burial will take place at his home in Highland, Molo on Friday 14th July 2017.

1967 – 2017

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s wish that we announce the death of Rose Andala Juma who until her death was a teacher at Mungulu Primary School. Madam Rose passed on the morning of Saturday 8th July 2017 at Royal Garden Hospital.

Loving wife of Sylvester Juma Andieri with whom they had 4 children; Charlene Juma, Valary Juma, Sharon Juma and the late Ian Andieri. Daughter of the late Nelson Nyanje and the late Phylis Nyangweso. Daughter-in-law of the late Alfred Andieri and Leonida Anyanga Andieri. Sister of Wilfred Manyasa, Jack Manyasa, Mary Nyaranga, Andrew Omumamu, Joan Ethaboka, Eglay Lubang’a, the late Ashmala, the late Daniel Eshitoli, and the late Asuba. Sister-in-law of the late Andrew Maina Andieri, the late Lawrence Tabu, Basilida Anyanga, Teresia Nekesa, Ann Andieri, the late w Maurice Lumumba, Isaac Amatasi Andieri and the late Nina Andieri. Madam Rose was a vibrant, jovial, amicable and staunch Christian and will be greatly missed by her family, colleagues, the entire fraternity of Shikoti Parish, students, friends and relatives.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements in Shamala Murumba Butsotso East, Kakamega Central.The cortege leaves St. Elizabeth Mukumu Mortuary on Thursday 13th July 2017 for a requiem mass at Shikoti Catholic Church and then head to Mungulu Primary School for public viewing. Thereafter, the body will be escorted to her home again for public viewing. Madam Rose will be laid to rest on Saturday 15th July 2017 after a funeral service mass at the homestead which will start at 8:30am.

“We will remember your smile our wife, mum, sister, aunt, grandma, friend and teacher. No one really wants to say goodbye. So instead we just wish you eternal peace.”

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of James Kamau which occurred on Friday 7/7/2017 in Nakuru, Formally of Swift Royal Conveyors Ltd Mombasa.

Son of Peninah Wahu Kinuthia and the late George Kinuthia Kiarie of Engashura Nakuru County. Brother of Samuel Kiarie, William Wambugu and Loise Wambui. Uncle of Peter, Wahu ,Njeri and Nganga.

Prayers & Burial Preparations are being held daily at his parents’ home in Engashura, Nakuru County.

Burial will be on Friday 14/07/2017 at the parent’s  home in Engashura, Nakuru County.
