Brother of Mwaniki and Ann, the late Ngetha and Florence, Wachira and Njeri, the late Mugo and Nyokabi, the late Waheire and Ruth, Kamau and Nyambura, the late Maina, Wanjiru, the late Wacera, Wamuyu, Wanjiku and Wangui. Grandfather of Shiru Nderitu, Kariuki Githinji, Dan Nderitu, Njoki Waigi, Mahia Waigi,Wahome Githinji, Shawn Kigondu, Kariuki Waigi, and Shekinah Kigondu among many others. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital, Karatina at on 15th July, 2017 8.30 a.m for the funeral service at Ragati Primary School grounds at 9:30 a.m. He will be laid to rest at his Ragati home, Karatina, Nyeri County thereafter.

Funeral arrangement meetings are at his Ragati home from 4.30P.M. and at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Monday 10th, Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th July from 5:30p.m to 7.30pm.
