Gilbert Muchoki Kirera of Harlow, Essex, lost his mother in Kenya, Monica Njoki Kirera on Thursday 6th July, 2017.

The late Monica was the wife of the late Danson Kirera Muri of Kamahuha location 17, Maragwa District.

She is the mother of Gilbert (Harlow-UK), Rev. Gachucha (USA), Mburu, Murigi, Capt Kirera (Air Kenya), Peris, Rosemary, Muiruri and the late chief Mburu (Maragwa Ridge location) among others.

Grandmother of Captain Wanyoike (KQ), Gichuru, Lydia (Dubai), Jane (USA), Anne, Judy, Jimmy, Phillip among many other grandchildren.

Burial takes place in Kenya on Thursday 13th July 2017.

The cortege leaves St Joseph Hospital Mortuary in Voi on 07/07/20l7 at 1.00pm to his home village at Kiruwuko Mlechi Mbale location for burial on 8/7/2017.

The Wathutta family wishes to announce the death of Peter Martin Wathutta on 2 July 2017 following a short illness.

He was son of the late Rufus Kiroro Wanjohi and Hannah Wahiga Wanjohi. Foster Son of the late Mr and Mrs Stanley Kinga Mwendia. Son in-law to the late Jesse Kariuki and Jemimah Wariga. Husband of Irene Nyambura Wathutta. Father of James Kariuki, Rufus Mwangi and Anthony Wanjohi. Father in-law of Wangare Hassan and Comfort Kananu. Grandfather of AbdulMalik Wathutta, Abdalla Mwangi and Ray Wathutta. Brother, cousin, uncle and friend to many.

Daily Meetings are going on in town at Antonio’s Grill Restaurant and at his home in Choka off-Kangundo Rd. Loving husband of the late Gorety Akelo Okwiri. Father of Caroline Fiona Okwiri (UK), Owino Agaya Okwiri Jnr (UK) and Oki Agaya Okwiri (UoN). Grandfather of Harvey.

Son of the late Peter Okwiri Mgenya and Monica Adhiambo Okwiri. Brother of the late Benard, Vitalis, Florence, Domtilla, Luke, Angeline, John, Fortunatus, Jenipher (USA), Joab, Crispin, Peter. Uncle of many.

Friends and family will be meeting at Parklands Baptist Church, Class 2H, Westlands, on 6th July 2017 from 6.30pm to finalise burial arrangements.

There will be a requiem mass at St Jude’s Chapel on Rhapta Road, Westlands, on 8th July starting at 10.00am. Thereafter burial will take place at Lang’ata Cemetery.

Funeral service will be held at ACK St. johns Kangemi followed by the burial at his home Nyambari Sub-location, Gitithia Location, Lari Division, Kiambu County.

Beloved husband of Romona Musita and loving father of the late Bishop Evans Agolla, Debra Kimberley Adhiambo, the late Patrick Adrian Omondi and Cyrill Christopher Khama. Brother of Isaiah, Agnes, Lilian, Michael, Nehemiah, Oscar, Rebecca, Evans, Jane and Millicent. Brother-in-law of Rodgers, Leah, Gordon, Rosemary, Caroline and Victoria. Funeral gatherings are taking place every evening from 5.00pm at Kokeb restaurant in Nakuru and at his Kiamunyi residence.The main harambee will be held on Tuesday 11/7/2017 at Kokeb from 4.00pm. Funeral service will be at ACK Cathedral Nakuru on Thursday 13/7/2017 at 3pm followed by an overnight stay at his Kiamunyi residence and burial on Saturday 15/7/2017 at,Mur Ng’iya in Siaya County.

We regret to announce the untimely death of Dorothy Wanjiru Kang’ethe, daughter to Julius Kang’ethe of Famers Choice Ltd. and Immaculate Kang’ethe of Mater Hospital Nairobi.

Sister of Andrew Kimani of Sidian Bank. Sister-in-law of Nancy Buba of Population Council of Kenya. Auntie of Alicia Mugure. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 12th July 2017 at 8:00a.m for a requiem mass starting 10a.m. at Queen of Apostles Ruaraka. She will be buried at her family’s Mugira -farm, Makuyu on the same day after 1.00pm.

The burial will take place at his home in Tunyai, ithino village on Saturday 8th July 2017.
