Mother of James Githegi Nduati, Mrs. Margaret Wangeci Mwangi, the late Erastus Karanu Nduati, Pius Mungai Nduatih, Patrick Karanja Nduati, Joseph Mwangi Nduati, the late Peter Mwaniki Nduati and Andrew Macharia Nduati. Sister of Phyllis Muthoni Karanu and the late Virginia Wangeci Muturi. Mother-in-law of Mary Nyambura Githegi, Joseph Mwangi Ngema, Maria Wangeci Mungai, Esther Wanjiru Mwangi, Benedeta Kabura Mwaniki and Agnes Njeri Macharia. Wife of the late John Alushula (Dherema) of Ebukambuli in Ilala village, Khwisero Sub-County, Kakamega County. Mother of Rosebella Atemo, Anthony Arunga, the late Lynnette Anyonje, Stephen Litunya, the late Rachel Ameso, Tom Meja, Anglo Alushula, and Sarah Lidia.

Sister-in-law of Wilson Indimuli, Lloyd Arunga, Joyce Wameyo, Malack Akollo, Julius Arunga, Hosborne Ongoli, Fred Litunya, Philip Obanda, Davis Wodenyo, Joseph Arunga, the late Hellen Ayieko, the late Clive Nabongo, the late Leonida Ambundo, the late Elizabeth Kayo and their siblings. Co-wife of Dorothy Wodenyo, Luciana Malack, Philice Indimuli, and Rose Malika Arunga who cared closely for her until her final breath. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, 33grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The cortege will leave St. Mary’s Hospital Mumias on June 29, 2017 at 11.00. This will be followed by a Church Service at St. John’s Church – Mukhombe. Burial will be on Saturday July 1, 2017 at her home in Ilala Ebukambuli, Khwisero, Kakamega County.
