Michael Sauni Sigwaza

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of Michael Sauni Sigwaza. Michael passed away on Thursday the 8th of June 2017 after a brave battle with cancer. He was the son to Ernest and Anastanzia Wakesho Sigwaza . Brother to baby Nandi Sigwaza (3 weeks old ) grandchild to Gertrude Mokoi of Taveta, Kenya and Mr and Mrs Michael Sigwaza of Durban, South Africa.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Michael on Saturday the 17th of June at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 60 Sturges Road, Wokingham, RG40 2HE from 2-4pm.

The funeral mass will be held on Friday the 23rd of June at the same venue from 11 am and thereafter Michael will be laid to rest at All Saints Churchyard, Wokingham which is a walking distance from Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

With humility, we accept God’s will for resting our dear mum, Ferdinada Wangechi Kaigi to eternal peace on June 11th 2017 at Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
She is the mother of Charity Kimani and Mainah Kaigi both of McKinney Texas; Catherine Kabira and Patricia Kengara both of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Muigai Kaigi, Purity Kinyanjui, Muita Kaigi and Ndarahi Kaigi all of Nairobi.
Mother in law of Julius Mwangi, Muthoni Mainah, Daniel Kabira, Stephen Kengara, Joyce Muiga, Simon Kinyanjui, Stella Muita and Ruth Ndarahi.

Beloved husband of Joyce Njeri. Father of Shiru Amanda, Elena Waringa and Ela Shi. Son of the late Peter Wanyeki Ngaa’ri and late Esther Wanjiru Wanyeki. Son in law of Winnie Mary Waringa Kariuki.

Wachia Manambo Jaridine (Jardin) Graff

A Kenyan woman has passed away in Hamburg and the State is looking for her next of kin.
It has been close to a month since she passed away and her family is yet to be found.
A month ago a Kenyan passed away in Hamburg, during the wake organised by the community where funeral arrangements were to be discussed, another Kenyan lady that had attended the event tripped on her way out and fell on the staircase.
The lady identified as Wachia Manambo or as Jaridine (Jardin) Graff, would then be rushed to hospital for treatment. On 23rd May, Ms. Manambo passed on at the hospital.
Since end of May, Kenyans in Hamburg have sent out appeals in an attempt to locate her family but to no avail.
As time is running out, the Kenyan community in Hamburg is sending out an appeal to Kenyans around the world to share this story and help find Ms. Manambo’s family.

Esther Wangu Migwi

Police officer Esther Wangu Migwi, 59, collapsed and died at 9.30pm on Friday June 10th 2017.
Esther was part of the team of police officers at Gichungo Police Post in Kariamu, Ol Kalou.
She tripped and fell while ferrying two buckets full of water to her house from a communal tank.
Her police officer neighbours rushed her to the J M Memorial Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead, after a long struggle to save her life.
Her colleagues described her as a dedicated and obedient officer who got on well with everybody with whom she came into contact.
Esther died with only a year left to her retirement.
She is survived by a husband, himself a senior police officer, and four adult children.
Her body will be laid to rest at their home in Bosnia village, Rurii Ward, Ol Kalou on Saturday June 17th 2017.
A mini-fundraiser will be conducted at Ol Kalou police station on Thursday June 15th 2017 to offset burial expenses.
