Always cheerful and full of life and joy, Henry will be cherished by us all.
Step-son of George Smith. Son of Alfred Maclean And Alice Quinos Smith.
Brother of Cynthia Smith. Step Son of Liza Maclean. Step brother of Winnie Maclean, Shukri Maclean, Terry Maclean, Ronny Maclean, Derrick Maclean.
Nephew of jamila, Stella, Christine and William.
He will be buried on his fathers farm in Kitale-Kesogoni on Saturday the 17th June 2017.

Caroline Nyambura Maina

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Caroline Nyambura Maina of the Kenya Audience Research Foundation (KARF) and part-time lecturer at St Paul’s University. Beloved daughter of Peter Maina Kimondo and Susan Warukira Wanjohi of the Ministry of Education, Nairobi. Treasured sister of Anthony Kimondo Maina of UoN and Judy Wairimu Maina of JKUAT. Grand daughter of Mary Wahito and the late Cyrus Wanjohi of Matanya Village, Laikipia, Esther Nyambura and the late Joram Kimondo of Gichira Village, Nyeri County.
Funeral arrangements are going on at Tumaini House 5th Floor opposite Kencom House, Nairobi, every weekday at 5.30pm.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 16th June 2017 for a funeral service and burial at the family farm in Guara Village, Burguret, Kieni East, Nyeri County.

Duncan Gaitho Njuguna

We regret to inform you that after a long but brave battle with cancer, Mr. Duncan Gaitho Njuguna passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at the age of 69.
Mr. Njuguna was a cherished member of the Kenyan Diaspora community and a longtime
resident of Newark, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife Catherine Gaitho and four sons in
Kenya; Njuguna, Kamau, Eric Mugo and Kenneth Mugo. During his illness, his elderly mother,
aged 86 years, took care of him and at the same time taking care of Duncan’s wife that is
functionally incapacitated by yet another terrible disease. Mr. Njuguna’s mother is very grateful
to everyone who made time to visit and support her family during these challenging past
months.
The organizing committee would like to thank the Kenyan community for their prayers, love and
support to the family since last year when they learned about Mr. Njuguna’s illness. We are truly
grateful to everyone who has contributed financially, their time or materials toward Mr. Njuguna
medical care, and his family.
On behalf of Duncan’s mother and the New Jersey Kenyan community, we are appealing
to people of goodwill to help the elderly mother give her son an appropriate sendoff and
financial support for her to continue to take care of her sick daughter-in- law. A
fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday June 17, 2017 from 4.00pm at following location:

Husband of Lucy Wambui, father of Tabitha Wambui, Hannah Waithira, Mary Nyambura (Chania primary), the late Dishon Mwangi, Tabby Wambui (Chuka university), and Mercy Nyambura (Mt. Kinangop girls).
Son of the late Mr. and Mrs.Tabitha Njogu Ng’ang’a and Ng’ang’a Maruru. Brother of John N. N. Ng’ang’a, Peter Karanja Ng’ang’a and Anne Muthoni Ndirangu. Brother-in-law of Rebecca Ng’ang’a (Daystar University), Jane Karanja, and David Ndirangu.
Father-in-law of John Mugwe, and Rud Kamau. Grandfather of Joseph Githuthwa, \ Maxwell Kara*, James Wainaina, Felix Wainaina and Joy Wairimu.

Stanley Gicheha Muturi

Death has occurred of Stanley Gicheha Muturi. He hails from Njoro. Muchatha, Kiambu County, near Njoro Catholic Church. Son of the late Moses Muturi Gicheha and Wanjiru Muturi. Husband of the late Eddah Waceke Gicheha. Father of Loise Wanjiru Ng’anga, James Mburu, Grace Nduta Wamwea, Isaac Mwatha, Samuel Kinyanjui and the late Moses Muturi. Brother of David Kangiri Muturi and the late Moses Mwatha. Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his residence. Church service will take place on Thursday 15th June 2017 from 11.00am at A.C.K. St Paul’s Njoro and thereafter burial will be at his farm in Moro.
