The Lord has willed it to call Samuel Njogu Kamau (Sok) home after a short illness in Nairobi.
Sok is the beloved Son of Mr & Mrs Kamau Njogu of NBI, adored brother to many amongst them; Hannah Kamau of Columbia MD,Judy Olepere, Dallas Tx – USA, Penninah Wangai,Mombasa. Edward Njogu Kamau (Pujo) NRB, Felister Bwana, Peter Mayala, Deo Makongoro, all of Tanzania, cousin ,nephew, uncle and friend to many others.
A Memorial service is planned in Columbia MD – Sunday June 11th afternoon,Venue & Time to be confirmed.

Margaret Wanjiru Wanjui

It is with great sadness that we share with you that our beloved Margaret Wanjiru Wanjui went to be with the Lord in heaven on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
It was a sudden and unexpected loss. We find some small comfort in knowing that she was on her way to church that morning to celebrate the Feast of the Ascension, which commemorates the Christian belief of Jesus’ ascension into heaven.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church (15th & V Streets, NW) in Washington, DC. There will be a viewing and rosary recitation starting at 10am, and the Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11am. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in NE DC. The location for the repast will be shared at the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in memory of Margaret Wanjui to St. Augustine Church, 1419 V Street NW, Washington, DC 20009. Margaret was an active parishioner at St. Augustine Church for close to 50 years.
She is survived by five children, Clement Mbote, James Mbote, Theresa Atta, Peter Atta and Michael Atta; five sisters; two brothers; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She served as Head Cook at Christ House for over 30 years.

Bishop Dr Josiah Thuku Kambutu

It is with a heavy heart that we Announce the death of Bishop Dr. Josiah Thuku Kambutu on Thursday, June 1st, 2017. Dr. Josiah Thuku was born on December 13th, 1953 in Nairobi, Kenya. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in September 2016 and continued treatments until his passing.

He was the Founder of House of Fellowship Church of God where he served faithfully as the Senior Pastor.

He has left behind his widow Joyce Thuku, Sons, Irungu, Mwanzia, Moses, Karungu, Joshua and daughter Kafura.

Friends are meeting daily at the Family Residence located at 4440 Briarwood Ct. S. Annandale, VA 22003 on Mondays to Saturday at 7:30 pm and on Sundays at 6:30 pm.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the tragic death of Mike Mulwa Ngangi (254 SKILLWEAR) that occurred on 3rd June 2017 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Friends and family are meeting at his residence at 4940 Pinehurst Circle Acworth GA 30101.
A fundraiser and memorial will be held at KACC Church on June 11th 2017, at 2pm at 771 Elberta Dr, Marietta, GA 30066.
Mike is survived by daughter Kyla Mweni, son Kyle and widow Margaret Munuhe who is expectant and due in three weeks. They all live in the Atlanta area.

Following the 14th May demise of Mrs Aurelia Majindiri Ngure of Thika, the Ngure family informs family and friends that her funeral will be held tomorrow Friday, June the 9th. She was widow to the Late Dr Stephen Nicholas Ngure. Mother to Michael Muthu, Ian Anthony Rwangabo, Jennifer Wanjiku (Department of Livestock Production-Muranga), Peggy Kanziga and Winnie Thingo Ngure (both of California, USA).
Grandmother to Eddie Mutinda, Stephanie Aurelia Mutesi and Ineza Majindiri Lopes. Sister to Stephania Gatoya of Nyagatare, Rwanda, the late Peter Sebutsure and the late Augustine Gatengezi. Sister-in-law to Mrs. Karen Thingo Kanari of Nairobi Kenya, Mr. Cyrus Komo of California, USA and the late Joseph Nginyo of Tinganga Kiambu.
Meetings are being held from 7:00 – 9:00pm, at Kiboko Estate in Thika.
The Funeral service will be held at Thika Memorial Church on Gatanga Road on Friday 9th June 2017 at 10:00am, followed by internment at 1:30pm at the family home in Tinganga, Kiambu.
