We regret to announce the death of Anne Kavochi Ongalo of Standard Chartered Bank.
She passed away on Monday, 5 June 2017 at Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi while undergoing treatment. Daughter of the late Isaac Odundo and Lois Odundo of Shirakatu, Kakamega County.Wife to the late Arthur Ongalo and mother of Isabella, Job Chartered Bank), Brian and Edmond Ongalo. Sister to Jane Odanga, Mary Alabu (Manchester Amugune and Peter Kabwoya. Grandmother to Ongalo and Levi Imani Dobson. Friend, mentor, teacher and colleague to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily in the evenings at her residence at Akiba Estate, Langata, house number A75.

The procession heads to Murumba sub-location, Afsea village, Kakamega County, on Thursday morning 15 June 2017
where she will be Iaid to rest on Saturday 17 June 20I7.

It is with profound shock that we announce the sudden demise of Justus Ayanga Wanekeya at The Nairobi West Hospital on the morning of Saturday 3rd June 2017 after a short illness.

Beloved son of the late Enos Wanekeya & the late Rosa Wanekeya of Shibembe village, Marama South location, Butere. Son-in-law -of Mr. Edwin Luchemo & Mama Nellie Luchemo of Kisa Mulwanda village. Brother of Chrispus Namayi (Mombasa), Mary Owiti, Bud Rakumo (Meteorological Nairobi), the late George Matseshe, the late Festus Khanda, the late Frank Oweya, the late Fred Ongile, & the !atc Constantino Aswani. Adoring & loving husband of Pam Luchemo Anyanga (Principal Muhaka Secondary, Kwale County. Loving & caroling father of Ralsa Nikita Anyanga (Technical University of Mombaial), Eiffel Anyanga (Niceview Academy, Msambweni), AI Anyanga (Niceview Academy, Msambweni), Bill (Toronto) and Mike (Chicago). Brother-in-law of Elijah Owiti Omukhulu. Uncle of Nelson Mukolwe (DoD), Dan, Daisy, Arlene, Rosa among others.

The body is lying at the Chiromo Hospital mortuary, Nairobi. Family and friends are meeting at Railway Club Nairobi on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th starting 2pm. There will be a major fundraising at the same venue on Tuesday 13th June starting 5 pm to help offset hospital expenses. Burial will be n 17/6/2017 at Shibembe village from 10.00am.

It is with great sadness that we inform of the passing of Mr Joseph Moshe, the founder and Managing Director of Engineering Development Ltd on Sunday the 4th of June 2017 at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

Mr Joseph Moshe’s unique love for engineering and his work ethic and immense spirit of innovation and inventiveness impacted nearly every industry in the 49 years of living in Kenya.

Even though he had great love for Kenya, Joseph’s wish was to be buried in Israel.

Step mother of Andrew Mutuku, Alice Mutindi, Jane Wavinya, DaudiKitaka, Solomon Nzau, Morris Ngile, Joyce Kalondu, Patrick Mutua, Irine Nzisa, Shedrack Wambua and Cathereen Kamene. Mother in-law of the late Redempta John, Elizabeth Wambua, Beatrice Kitaka and Elizabeth Mutuku among others. Burial arrangements are going on both in Nairobi (Garden Square) and at her home in Nthangu Village, Makueni County. There will be a mini harambee at Garden Square at 6.00pm and at her home in NthanguVillage on Thursday 8th 2017.The burial will be on Saturday 10th at Nthangu Village, Makueni County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ruth Kinaitore Kang’uura (Mummy) of Mayoe Village Mikinduri, Tigania East-Meru County, which occurred on 30th May 2017 at Coptic Hospital – Nairobi after brave battle with cancer.
Wife of the late Salesio Kang’uura. Mother of Hon. Florence Kajuju-Meru County Women Representative, the late Felix,Karambu, Kimathi and Miriti. Purity Nkatha of Kengen  Naivasha, Kinoti, Mweteeri (Tete) and Ken Mwenda of Kenya Defence Forces (Kdf). In Law of David Gitonga and Timothy Mugambi. Grandmother of many.
Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at Nevada Hotel Makutano Meru, Mayoe home Mikinduri at 5pm (up to Thursday) and St Andrew’s P.C.E.A Lecture Hall 3 Nairobi from 5pm (Monday -Wednesday) for funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 9th June 2017 at 9.am for Funeral Service at St. Massimo Catholic Parish-Mikinduri at 10.Am. and thereafter burial at her home Mayoe Village.

She was daughter in Risper Achieng Nyagaya law to both the late Mzee Nehemiah Mboya Nyandega Aluko Nyandega and Ma.ma Perpetua Adara of Karachuonyo, Konyango. Grandma to James,Joshua Jennifer. Sister to Alice, James (I), Joseph, Ruth, Mary (I), Helen, Norah, Daniel, Abisage (I), Dolly, Debra, Henry and Micah.
