It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jeremiah Mbugua Kariuki, of Kanamai village, Mtwapa location, Kilifi county. Son of the late James Kariuki Ngure and Ruth Wambui Kariuki. Husband of Esther Njeri Mbugua. Father to; James Kariuki Mbugua, George Njuguna Mbugua, Lilian Wambui Mbugua and Timothy Ngure Mbugua. Brother of Paul Ngure, Mary Kaguora, Margaret Mburu,the late Veronica Wainaina, Samuel Munyambu, Esther Karanja, Rahab Boro, Peter Ngari and Joseph Ngigi. Son in-law of George Njuguna Hihinyi and Teresiah Wairimu Njuguna. Brother in-law of David Kamau. Geoffrey Mburu, Kenneth Karugu, Nancy Wanjiku, Anthony Thuitai, Rosemary Waithera and Tom Chege. Uncle to many. Grandfather to Kyla Njeri Wambui. Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kanamai, Mombasa;Thiong’o road, Nairobi and at their Limuru home in Tharuni from 6pm.The cortege leaves Coptic Mission Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 13th June, 2017 at 8am.The funeral service will take place at PCEA Jeremiah Gitau Memorial church (Kwa-Mbira). The burial will be held at his rural home in Tharuni village, Limuru sub-location, Limuru location, Kiambu County. Family and friends will meet on Saturday 10th June, 2017 at All Saints Cathedral, St. Matthews Hall from 1pm to 4pm and on unday 11th June, 2017 at PCEA Jeremiah Gitau Memorial Church Kwa-Mbira at 2pm to raise funds for the pending hospital bill.  There will be a memorial service on Thursday 8th June, 2017 at PCEA Makupa, Mombasa at 5pm.

 

Leah Watiri Githinji

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Leah Watiri Githinji. Wife of the late Joseph Githinji Ndiro (Popote).
Co-wife of Bernice Njeri Githinji and Esther Wanjiku Githinji. Sister of Philip Mungai (Bingwa) Njeri & Wambui among others. Mother of John Timothy Ndiro Githinji, Jane Wanjiru Gichuhi, James Njuguna Githinji, Mary Wambui Gacheche, Irene Wanjiku Kang’ether, Johnson Kamau Githinji (Mwihoko), Lucy Nyambura Githinji (KRA), Stephen Mbugua Githinji, the late Francis Kimani Githinji and Susan Nyokabi Njuguna. Step-mother of many and grandmother of many.
The burial will be held on Friday 9th June 2017 at her home Olkalou farm near Brookside Dairy.

She was working with The Department of Public Health Meru County (Mutuati). She has previously worked as a Public Health Officer at Nyahururu, Mitunguu, Mikumbune, Nkubu, Mujwa and Uruku. Daughter of the late Erastus Munyi and the late Janet Munyi. Wife of Warrant Officer I Japhet Kaburu Kiara of Kenya Defence Forces. Mother of Kelvin Kaburu (V-A) of Wapendwa Bookworld Maua, Winny Kaburu of Nairobi, Steve Mutuma of Kenyatta University and Mark Munene. Mother-in-law of Hilda Kinya Mwirigi. Sister of Joyce, James, Sarah, Peninah, Bernard, Margaret and Ngige. Daughter-in-law of the late Kiara M’marete, the late Charity Kiara and Gladys Kiara. Family, friends & relatives are meeting daily at her home Mikumbune starting at 4pm and Nkubu Joycem Plaza from 6pm. The cortege leaves Chogoria Hospital Mortuary on Friday 09/06/17 9am. Funeral and burial service will follow at her home Gitugunyu Village, Mikumbune ocation, !mend South, Meru County

Cortege leaves Sega Mission Hospital on Thursday 8/6/2017 for a requiem mass at Wakhungu ACK Church. She will be laid to rest on Friday 9/6/2017 at her home en Bupala Village, Sarnia.

Father of Stella Person, Patrick Muthuri, Moses Gitonga, Lawrence Mutua and Faith Makena. Father-in-Law to Bryan, Late Dorothy, Rosemary, Muna and Mercy. We the family of the late Dr. Martin Luther Oduori, wish to express our most heartfelt  gratitude first and foremost to our Almighty God for blessing us with the many years. He has given us with our husband, dad, and grandfather. Our sincere gratitude and appreciation go to our relatives, friends, and neighbors for their overwhelming support, through prayers, kind words of comfort and encouragement, financial and material contributions during that difficult time. We give special thanks to the two funeral committees in Nairobi and Nyakhobi Green Village led by Eng. Mathias Ogama and Mr. Charles Mudibo,for their commitment which ensured a befitting and dignified send off of our beloved Daktari.
