Daughter of the late Chief Gachango Kinene and late Veronicah Wambui. Wife of the late Stephen Gachanja. Sister of Ruth Githua, Wangui Gathurithu and late Munyambu Gachango. Loving mother of Mary Nduta Ngige (Kairi), Githende Gachanja (Mombasa), John Gachango and Dominic Ichugu Gachanja (Thika). Mother-in-law of Peter Ngige, Irene Gathoni, Jedida Wambui and Catherine Ichugu. Co-wife of the late Esther Muthoni. Stepmother. of David Njogu (Adv), Racheal Nduta Kamunyu among others. Grandmother of Dr Ngige, Eng Gachanja,Veronicah Wanjiku, Timothy Mburu, Cynthia Gathoni (Germany), Wangechi, the late Mark, Stephen Gachanja, Dennis Mburu, Christine Gathoni, Mark Gathigi among others. Great grandmother of many children.

Family,relatives and friends are meeting daily at home in Kairi. There will be meeting at Coconut Grill hotel, Thika on Wednesday 31st May 2107.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral home(Thika) on Saturday 3rd June 217 at 8am. Thereafter funeral services and burial at her home in Kairi village, Gatundu North,Kiambu County.

Son of Mr.Philip King’ori Gakuha and Natalia Wambui King’ori of Wamugo Village Nyeri County. Husband of Eva Watetu. Loving Father of Samuel Mathenge, Philip King’ori and Grace Wambui. Brother of Mr Samuel Wanyiri, Mrs. Mary Wanjiru, Mrs Jane Njoki, Mr. Charles Thami, Mr. Andrew Njake, Mrs Purity Mugure and Mrs Ann Nyaguthii.

Brother-in-law of Mathew Warugongo, Benjamin Kamau Samuel Mwangi, Esther Njeri, Lydiah King’oni Wangari, Priscilla Njeri, Dr. MASWaweru,  Francis lrungu, Duncan Ndiang’ui, Loise Wanjiru and Naomi Njoki. Grandfather of Lewis Kamau, Lena Wanjiru and many others. Uncle of many. The cortege will leave Mathari Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday at 8.30am for a funeral Service to be held at the graveside at his home,Wamugo Village, Kimathi Location Nyeri County, starting at 11.00am.

It is one year since you left us to be with the Lord.
Remembered and dearly missed by your sons, daughters, tucucus, tugukas, relatives, friends for being kind, caring ,humble, selfless and loving.

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Keziah Njeri Nyika which occurred on Wednesday 24th May 2017 at Tumutumu Mission Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Wife of the late David Nyika Muriithi. Daughter of the late Gadson Kamau Karanja and the late ,Zipporah Wangari Kamau. Mother of Gadson Kamau Nyika (Nakumatt Head Office) and Henry Muriithi Nyika (Senator’s office — Nyeri). Mother-in-law of Catherine Muthoni Kamau and Felicine Nyambura Muriithi. Sister of the late Mary Wanjiru Njoroge, Peninah Muthoni Kangethe and Peterson Karanja Kamau. Sister in law, auntie and grandmother of many.
Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Mukurweini, Kaheti – Kiawaita village, central pub-Mukurweini town and lmmaccra Hotel – Nairobi for funeral arrangements daily. The cortege leaves Tumutumu mortuary on Friday, 2nd June 2017 at 9:00 a.m for burial service at Mirundu P.C.E.A church and burial at her home thereafter.

Father of Joel & Esther, the late Zipporah, Rhodah & Job, and Monica & Ken. Grandfather of Mwende & Musomi, Levi & Zipporah and Leila. Brother of Daniel, Reuben, Joseph, the late Andrew, Ezekiel, Nancy, Grace, Elias and Maj. Nthenge. Step-brother of Joseph, Alice and Isaac. Daughter of the late Kiangoi Mocha and the late Kwamboka Kiangoi of Bokeira Nyamira County. Wife of the late Patroba Ombasa of Bombo Nyamira County. Mother of John Mogaka, Bilha Moraa, Hon. Joseph Kiangoi Ombasa and Hellen Banchiri. Mother-in-law of Catherine Mogaka, Johnson Obanyi, Martha Kiangoi, Taphy Mogaka and the late Sato Arisa.

Grandmother and great grandmother of many. Sister-in-law of mzee Barnaba Ayogo, the late Bosibori, the late Nyabosangora, the late Chimba, the late Anyoka and Gesuge among others. Co-wife of Nyarinda Ombasa and aunt of many.

Senator David Musila and the entire family of the late Alice Kivwea Musila thank the Almighty God for the blessing of our Mum’s life. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to those who stood with us during the illness and demise of our dear mother. We were deeply touched by messages of condolence via SMS, telephone calls and in person.We especially convey our gratitude to the President, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, H.E Kalonzo Musyoka, Mr. Peter Muthoka and many other friends, too many to mention, for their messages of support during that difficult time.
We would like to thank the funeral-organizing committees in Nairobi, Kitui and Mwingi, Senator Musila’s colleagues in the Senate and the National Assembly and our many friends and relatives who prayerfully supported us during Mum’s illness.

We thank Dr. Earnest Kioko, of the Nairobi Hospital, Prof. Stanley Khainga, of the Aga Khan hospital and all nurses of Nairobi Hospital, for the care they gave to our mother during the period of her illness.

Since it is not possible to mention every person who made this journey easier for us, we request that this message goes to everyone who in one way or another assisted the family.

Father of Mrs Margaret Muthoni Githinji, the late Stella Nyambura Kiiru, Peter Githinji Kiiru, Mrs. Mary G.Wanjiru Kamau, the late Joseph Njoroge Kiiru, Geoffrey Kariuki Kiiru and Lydiah Wanjiku Kiiru. Father-in-law of the late Githinji Njui, Betty Githinji, John Kamau, Beth Njoroge and Catherine Kariuki.
Prayer meetings are taking place at their house at Jericho Lumumba on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.There will be memorial (Mass) service on Thursday 1st June at 1 lam at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Jericho Lumumba. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University (KU) Mortuary at 8am on Friday 2nd June for burial at Nairutia, Gatarakwa, Mweiga, Nyeri from I I am.
