Son of the late Josiah Kiptonui Kirui and Doris Lulu Kirui of Litein. Step son of the late Alice Kirui of chebwagan. Son in-law of Nathan and Hellen Ngesa. Beloved husband of Fiona Ngesa and doting father of Shawn Tanui and Abigael Kadzo Tanui. Brother of Charlotte Juma of Finlays, Samuel Tanui and Christine Kirui. Step brother of the late Linah Kirui, late RobertTanui, Peter Tanui of Kericho county Govt. Weldon Kirui of Utalii College, Martin Tanui and Caroline Langat. Brother in law of Juma, Ken ,Tom, Rachel, Joyce, Josephine Daisy, Caroline Ngesa, Georgina, Linda and Angela.

The cortege leaves Kapkatet Hospital mortuary on Friday 26th May 2017 at 2.00pm for overnight stay at Litein Home. Burial will be held on Saturday 27th May 2017.

Son of the late Johana Wachanga and Gladys Warukira. Loving husband of late Susan Wangari Waithaka. Son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs.Waithaka Murunga. Father of Milka Wambui(Nyadarua County), Samuel Waigwa, Linus Waithaka, Richard Ndiritu (Reigman Consult), Charles Ngodi (Associate Pastor PEFA Church Githurai), Winfred Warukira (Winka Fashions), Eliud Murunga, Nancy Wacera (Stitches and Stitches), Beatrice Njeri, Anthony Muriithi and Gerald Wang’ombe. Father in-law of Joseph Mariga, Ruth Wangui, Ruth Wanjiku, Beth Wanjiru (African Nazareen University), James Kariuki (Winka Fashions), Martha Muthoni, Grace Wambui, John Gikonyo (Pinnacle buss school), Maggie Njeri and. Funeral home on Saturday 27th may 2017 at 7am. Thereafter funeral service and burial at his Gacuiro farm Nyeri County at 11.00am.

Kennedy Murithi Nkune

He was working with Administration Police Training college attached to State House. He hailes from Kiamuriuki village Magumoni location Tharaka Nithi County. Son of the late Nelson Nkune and Esther Nkune. Loving husband of Nina Kathure of Deputy County Commissioner’s office Tharaka Nithi County. Father of Brian Muthomi of Mwimbi Board Pry School and Victor Kaimenyi of Good Shepherd Kiamuriuki. Brother of Muriuki and Dina, Kangai and James, Kithinji and Kanini, Njiru and Magdaline and the late Muthoni. Son in law of Mr. & Mrs. John Manyara of Thuura Meru County. APPRECIATION

1928 – 2017

We, the family of the late Haggai Kanyugo Gakuru, thank the Almighty God for blessing us with the life of our Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother; the late Esther Karungari Kanyugo and for allowing her to raise us up.

Our heartfelt appreciation go to the many people who comforted and supported us during the difficult period when she left us and those who joined us to give her a great send-off.

We thank family members, relatives, friends and well-wishers from Nairobi, Kiawaithanji, Kitengela, Othaya, Laikipia, Bungoma, the staff of Teknobyte Ltd and even those in diaspora who prayed for us and also offered tremendous support and encouragement which eased our heavy burden.

We acknowledge and thank all the doctors who attended to her health at various times of her life including Dr. lrungu Ndirangu, Dr Ignatius Muturi, Dr. Samuel Gathua and Prof. Paul Kioy for the great professionalism in their work that made her life comfortable.

We are extremely grateful to the Kiawaithanji Baptist Church, St Andrew’s PCEA Church, Kiawaithanji Catholic Church and also to Reverend Robert Waihenya of PCEA Headquarters and Pastor Theuri of Kiawaithanji Baptist Church for helping organize the memorial and funeral services.

WAIRIMU NYOIKE

Our Great Appreciation

The family of Hon Kima wa Nyoike wish to express much appreciation to many friends and relatives who assisted the family in many ways, during the time when our Matriarch left us and went to be with the Lord in Heaven. To all of you, please accept our family’s indebtedness. We were overwhelmed by your love and actions.

In particular, we mention PCEA Church where Wairimu belonged and served in many capacities for many years. We wish to thank the Presbytery Moderator and his team for the labour of love shown during that sad period. We also send a big hug to Wairimu’s Macedonia Church in Athi River. They took care of us and guarded our home.

PCEA Woman’s Guild led by their National Guild Organiser, Mrs Veronica Muchiri, showed great love of their member. Praise be to God! Thank you sisters.

Daystar University led by the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor assisted in many ways. Their tributes from local and overseas Daystar fraternity make unusually good reading. They expressed great appreciation of Mrs Wairimu Nyoike.

Youth For Christ International and YFC Kenya produced priceless tributes. They showed great appreciation for Wairimu’s over 25 years of service to Youth For Christ International.

Special thanks to the Nursing fraternity, working very closely with other medical professionals based at Kenyatta National Hospital. We must mention the Chair of Nursing Council of Kenya, the Chair of National Nurses Association and the Nurse Esther Kiragu and officials of the Nightingale Association who coordinated the beautiful uniformed Nurses tributes. We were overwhelmed. Posthumously, we acknowledge the poem read by Dr John Gatu. He and all of us did not know that Wairimu’s Memorial Service was Dr Gatu’s last function on earth. He died a few days later.

It would never have been possible without all of you. We simply love you and appreciate all of you.

Son of the late Kioko Simba and the late Nthenya Mwando Kioko. Beloved husband of Grace Muthue and Rael Katinge. Loving father of Rachel Mbithe, Rebecca Katile, Alice Nthenya, Simon Kaloki (Kenya Fisheries Service, Kisumu), James Ndunda (Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, Nairobi), Paul Simba (Nova Industrial Products), Boniface Kioko, Patrick Mutua (Egerton University), Susan Ndunge, Aaron Muthiani (Kakuyuni Primary School), and John Mwanzia. Father-in-law of Margeret Kaloki, Jane Ndunda, Ann Simba, Mary Kioko, Florence Mutua, Eunice Muthiani, Carole Mwanzia and David Nyamu.
