She was the beloved wife of Pst. Daniel Kiprotich Bert (Rtd.Teacher) Mother of Dr Edwin Rotich (UOE), Kenneth Rotich (KTDA), Weldon Rottch (Kaiboi NP), Charles Roticti (Laisamis TTI), the late Everlyne Mutal, Nicholas Rotich (Sosiot), Beatrice Sett (Kihara Secondary School), Justus Rotich (Safaricom PLC), the late Wesley Rotich, and Carolyne Too (MTRH).

Mother-in-law of Nelly Rotich, Mercy Routh. keel Rotich, Lily Rotich, Jonathan Mutai, Abtgael Rotich,Abraham Nieru, Martha Rotich, and Bernard Too.

Grandmother of Emmanuel, Elly, Edith, Ethan, Ian, Ivy, Amy, Heidy, Reece, Ryan, Hans, Allan, Morgan, Faith, Stephannie, joy, Ryan, Adriel_ Antonia, Lance, Ray, Alair, Ellaine, Arnaris, Israel and ltzaak; great grandmother of Maya.

Family, neighbours, and friends are meeting daily at their home, Chomisla at 4.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kapsabet Samaritan Home for their home at Chomisia on 1st December 2025 for memorial service and thereafter an overnight vigil. The funeral will take place on 2nd December 2025.

On behalf of the Public Service Commission, Management, and Staff, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Martha Kagwiria Mberia, a staff member of the Commission, who passed away on 19th November 2025.

A public servant who carried out her duties with humility, enthusiasm, and dedication, The Commission has lost a diligent and committed officer.

Martha was the daughter of the late Kennedy Barii and Beatrice Kaimuri; beloved wife of Julius Karuti; and loving mother of Whitney Karuti, Victor Munene, Tracey Karuti, and Abigail Upendo.

She was sister of Lydia Makena, Edward Mwenda, Moses Ntoinya, and Peter Kaiyongi.

She was daughter-in-law of the late Samuel M’elingo, Margaret Ngeera, and Nkatha, Elingo; and sister-in-law of Zipporah, the late Kinanturu, Martha Kagwiria Mberia Sabina, and Geoffrey among others. She was a cousin and aunt to many.

Our memories of her will never fade, but will grow stronger and more colourful through God’s grace and comfort. We remain grateful for the time we were blessed to share with her.

A Memorial Service was held on 26th November 2025 in Komarock Methodist Church Nairobi at 2.00pm.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of George Githigu Gatitu, which occurred on 17th November 2025 after a sudden illness. At the time of his demise, he was an employee at the Office of the Attorney General serving in the Civil Litigation Department.

He was the son of Geoffrey Githigu Gatitu and Margret Waniiecu Gatitu, beloved husband of Jane Wanjiru Githigu, and a devoted father of Lucy Githigu, Angeline Githigu: Magdaline Githigu and Samuel Githigu. He was a cherished grandfather of Kingsley Douglas Wairimu, a loving brother, uncle and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily in Donholm. Nairobi and at Ngano, Nyahururu, from I 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) on Friday, 28th November 2025, for the funeral service and interment at his home in Ngano Village. Ngano location, 01 Jororok Sub-County, Nyandarua County.

He was husband of Elizabeth Wambui Karanja, son of the late Stephen Mwangi Njoroge (Kiagiri) and the late Rose Wangari Kiagiri (Mama Rose). He was brother of Francis Njoroge (Escort Group of Hotels), John Chege (Thika), Jane Wanjiku Gitau (Formerly NCC), Josphat Kimani (Hatari Security), the late Lawrence Kariuki (Lomas Estate) David Waweru (formerly NCC), Ngugi Mwangi (Advocate), Virginiah Waitherero Wainaina.

He was son in law of the late, Elijah Karagu Nathan and the late Grace Wanjiru Karagu of Kariva. Brother in law of Mrs Deborah Kimenyi (USA), the late Rhoda Kahara, Nathan Ngonjo, Peter Makara, Ruth Wairimu, Hezekiah Muigai, Joy Muhota, Nelson Kamau, Arthur Gacheru, Joseph Ngure, Julia Shankle (USA) Juliah Carol (USA) and Henry Thumbi.

He was father of Rosemercy  Wangari Ramon (USA), Stephen Mwangi, Elijah Karagu (USA), Grace Wanjiru Brown (USA) and Francis Njoroge. Father in law of Ramon Hannon (USA), Miriam Muthoni, Kristine Karagu (USA), Jamil Brown (USA) and Margaret Wambui.

Grandfather of Elizabeth Wambui Walker, Jarrell Karanja, Elainegrace Hannon, Jabari Mwangi, Zenith Karagu, Centauri Karagu and Giana Wambui (all of USA), Kimberly Wambui, Joseph Karanja, Elijah Karagu, Joseph karanja and Joshua Wambugu.

Meetings are being held daily from the 24th November to 28th November 2025 at All Saints Cathedral as from 5.00pm.

Burial date will be on 1st December 2025 at him home in Gatumbo Karilla Kandara Constituency Muranga County. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary on the 1st of December 2025 at 7.00am.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our patriarch George Lawrence Mwangi Gichimu in the early morning of 25th November 2025 at Aga Khan Hospital.

He was the son of the late Shem Gichimu and the late Juliah Nyambura. He was son-in-law of the late Patrick Kariuki and the late Elizabeth Wanjiku.

He was the beloved husband of Lydiah Mwangi. Loving father of Shem Mwangi, Judy Mwangi and Patrick Mwangi. Father in law of Elizabeth Wangeci.

He was a devoted and loving grandfather of Sherrin & Sarah Gichimu and Ayanna & Adelle Waweru.

He was brother of the late Emma Wairimu Kimani, Jane Waniiru Wachira, Susan Wangechi, Sedan Kariuki Gichimu and Rev David Mubuu Gichimu. He was a brother in law, cousin and uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Monday, 01, December, 2025 at 8:00 a.m for burial at his Engashura Farm, Nakuru from 10:00 am.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his Nakuru home from 4:00 p.m.

She was the wife of the late Simon Wairegi Kuria. She was the mother of Dr. Benson lrungu Wairegi (former Group Managing Director & CEO of Britam and Chancellor Kenyatta University) & Margaret Warigia, Francis Mwangi & Margaret Mwangi, the late Mary Wairimu, Andrew Ndirangu & Susan Muthoni, Margaret Wanjiru Mugo, Stephen Kariuki & Monicah Waitherero, Hannah Njeri& Isaac Nithia, Geoffrey Muiruri & Mary Wanjiru & Susan Wangui, Anthony Karania & Beatrice Wachuka, George Muturi & Pauline Wairimu, Dominic Njuguna & Agnes Wanjiku.

She was the beloved sister of the late Siphira Wangui Kariuki, Eunice Wanjiku Maina, Stephen Mwangi Ben, the late Nancy Njoki Chege, the late Peter Muthee Ben & the late Julius Karanja Ben. She was a grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at the All Saints Cathedral (Nairobi) on Wednesday 26th November and Thursday 27th November from 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Memorial Home on Saturday, 29th November at 7i00am, for a funeral service at Karega Secondary School at 10:00am, followed by interment at her farm in Iriguini Village, Kigumo Sub-County, Murang’a County, next to Irati Coffee Factory.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral Parlour on Friday 28th November, 2025 for a memorial mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Mumias and will be laid to rest on Saturday 29th November 2025 at his home in Mumias.

She was the daughter of the late Boniface Makau Musili and the late Regina Mutende Makau. She was sister of the late Stephen Makau.

Catherine was the wife of the late John Katumo Muselela and Mother of Rose Kadenge, the late Andrew Kimanzi, Albert Katumo, Caroline Katumo, and Elizabeth Katumo. She was Mother-in-Law of Oscar Kadenge, Rose Makau, Jamlick Gichuhi, and Muriuki Murithi, and Grandmother of Lisa and Victor Ndekei, Marvin, Neema, Ivana, Sydney, Arthur, Mark, Ian, Ivan, Tasha, Alvin, Nicole, Kathryn and many others.

She was sister-in-law of Kiema, the late Mutave, Mwania, Mbili and Teresia, and a cousin and aunt to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in lkanga Sub-Location, Kitui County from 4.00pm.

A requiem mass will be held on Friday 28th November 2025 at Don Bosco, Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Upper Hill, Nairobi at 10.00am.

The cortege will leave Tribute Funeral Home in Kitui Town on 1st December 2025 at 7.00am for a funeral service to be held at lkanga Boys Secondary School from 10.00am, and thereafter interment at her rural home in lkanga Sub-Location, Kitui County.
