He was son of the late Ibrahim Kigatiira and late Esther Muthoni and step-son of the late Julia Ncooro.

He was a beloved husband of Harriet Kathure Guantai, loving father of Kennedy Klogora, Edna Gakii, the late Brian Mutai, Nana Guantai and Jesse Mutuma, a doting grandfather of Tai, Susan, Angel and Nick.

He was brother of the late John ll’Ringera, late Stephen M’Mbogori, late Benjamin Thuranira, late Ayub Ndiiri, the late Prof. Isaac Kigatiira, late Jason Kabiti, Ezekiel Munene, Lucy Kajuju and the late Joseph Ndiiri.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 23rd January 2026, at 9.00 am, for a requiem service at Ongata Rongai Methodist Church from 10.00 am, followed by burial at his family home near PCEA Smyrna Kandisi, Ongata Rongai at 2.00 pm.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of our father Anakarius Njagi Kamau on Wednesday the 14th January 2026 at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital after a short illness bravely borne.

He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Igoki. He was father of Dennis Ndwiga Njagi and Morgan Magaju Njagi, Wakina, Rwamba, Murithi, and Gitonga.

He was also brother of Clement Njiru, the late Liston Kariuki, and Irene Muthoni.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home along Northern bypass on 23rd January 2026 at 6.15a.m. The burial will take place at his home in Kathari Village in Kyeni Location, Runyenjes Constituency in Embu County.

He was the beloved husband of Mercy Hiribae Wanyoike, devoted father of Hiribae, Timame Njeri and Sifa Wanyoike, brother of Gideon Kimiti (Late), Mwaura, Kamande, Wanjiru Muni, and Levi Wanyoike.

A fundraising event to help cover a huge medical bill and funeral expenses will be held on Friday 23rd January 2026 at Nairobi Baptist Church from 5:00 pm.

Family and friends will be meeting from 17:30hrs at Nairobi Baptist (Ngong Road) —Tuesday 20th /Wednesday 21st / Friday 23rd, and Life Ministry (Off jabavu Road) – Thursday 22nd.

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of our beloved Aram Mutema Mbui, 73, of Karen, Nairobi, passed away on January 14th 2025.

He was born in Kandambara Village, Nyangeni Sub Location, Ngariama Location, Gichugu, Kirinyaga County on February 17, 1953.

Son of the late Bethuel Mbui and Tabitha Muthoni.

He is survived by his spouse, Lucy Waruguru Mutema, his three children, David Mbui, Charles Macharia & Karen Muthoni. Father-in-law of Freshiah Njeri and grandfather of Ayden Mbui, Zari Waruguru and Zana Mwihaki.

He is also survived by his eight siblings Kenneth Mbui, Willy Machere, Evans Kanyua, Mercy Maina, Peter Murage, Jane Kathugu and the late Patrick Njeru their spouses, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Francis Church Karen on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 10.00am.
