It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Martin Chege Njuguna which occurred on Friday, 28th October 2025 at the Avenue Hospital -Thika.

Son of the late Daniel Njuguna wa Chege and Patricia Wangari Niuguna of Kiamworia village, Kiganio Location, Gatundu South — Kiambu County. Son in-law of the late Francis Mwendia and Joyce Wambui Mwendia of Gatanga Murang’a.

Husband of Monica Njoki Mwendia of Family Bank-Kiambu Branch. Father of Daniel Njuguna and Derrick Mwendia cf Thika Town.

Brother of Mary Wanjiku, Beth Njambi, Julia Wairimu, the late George Wahogo, Pauline Daniel,Winnie Wambui, Susan Nyokabi, Anthony Ngugi, Assumpta Wambui, Ann Njeri, and Alois Rebo all of Kiamworia, Gatundu South – Kiambu County.

He was a cousin of many including; Hobby Gitau, Chege Kariuki, George, Cate, Rosalia, Ngendo, Anthony, Simon and many others.

Brother in-law of Peter Kamau, Jane Wanjiru and Rose Nyambura of Gatanga Murang’a.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Landless Thika -Happy Valley Estate and rural village in Kiamworia – Gatundu South.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home-Kabati, on Monday. 24th November 2025 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service at Kiamworia Primary School grounds starting at 11.00am, thereafter, interment at their home in Kiamworia Village — Kiganjo location, Gatundu South — Kiambu County.

Kennedy Maina Kimani

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Kennedy Maina Kimani of MTN Nigeria on 15th November 2025, at his home in Wema Villas, Athi River after a short illness.

He was the beloved son of the late Simon Kimani Njuguna and Grace Kimani and stepson of Hannah Nyambura, husband of Anna Nyambura. Muigai, and father of Andrea Gaitau Maina and Christian Kimani Maina.

Kennedy was brother of Peter Kamau, Lydiah Kimani, Rachel Kimani, Rosebeil Waruguru, Alice Wanjiku Kimani, Peter Maina, Mary Wanjiku, John Karanja, the late Daniel Muiruri, Samwel Kamau and Rachael Wairimu.

He was uncle of Max, Mau, Lorenzo, Kevin, Grace, Leon, laden, Whitney, Shiro and Lucy and many more.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at the family home in Wema Villas, Athi River and at Theme Park Motel, Kenol.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Thika Road on Tuesday, 25th November, for burial at his farm in Kabati, Muranga County, Kimorori-Wempa Sub location.

Milkah Mogoi Sarange, HSC

March 7, 1980 – November 11, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Milkah Mogoi Sarange, HSC of the Office of the President, Ministry of Interior and National Administration, who went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2025, after short illness.

She was stationed at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC).

Milkah was the devoted wife of Mr. Ronald Mbugu Amoro of the Ministry of Education Headquarters and cherished mother of Teddy Amoro, Patricia Moraa and Joy Kemunto.

She was the daughter of Daniel Mogoi Omambia it-dens airing and the late Joyce Nyanchama. Sister of Walter  Ombaso, Gilbert Nyakwara and Levin Makori.

Niece of the late Sammy Omanwa, Jane, Beatrice, Flora, James, Venny and Mariam.

She was grandchild of the late Nathan Ong’ayo, the late Lazarus Omanwa, Daniel Makori, Mose, Nyaosi, Magara, the late Okinyi and the late Daudi.

She was daughter-in-law of Richard Amoro and the late Teresia Kerebi and sister-in-law of Kennedy, the late Pauline, Omenge, Hellen, Evans, Sophia, Edna and Lucy as well as aunty to many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, wisdom, generosity and love for her family, colleagues and friends. Her legacy of kindness and integrity lives on in all who knew her.

Family and friends will hold a fundraiser on Wednesday, 19th November 2025 at her residence in Obama Estate, Nairobi from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves thrash Funeral Horne on Friday, November 21, 2025 for Gesioga Village, lkobe Sub-location, Bosamaro Chache Location, West Mugirango Constituency, Nyamira County. Church service will be held on. Saturday at the Amoro’s Home. Thereafter, Milkah will be laid to rest on Sunday, 23rd November 2025.

Cherished Father of Maior (Rtd) Reuben Simiyu, Rachel Sinoya, Ruth Masulia, Jafred Waniala, Jedidah Naliaka, the late Majimbo Wanyonyi, Bud Matongwa, Joram Wanyonvi, Phyllis Nabwala, Simon Nabukhu, Jane Lunyolo, the late Montori Nabukhu, Job Wanyonyi, the late Moses Wanyonyi, Meltrine Wanyonyi, Everlyn Nabulungukha, Claire Wanyonyi, Mercy Nangila, Judith Wanyonyi and David Wanyonyi.

He is the brother of the late Lenah Nasambi, the late Rael Nekesa, the late Sofia Nasimiyu, the late Christine Namaemba, Saul Munialo, the late Grace Musebe, Julius Wanambisi, the late Solomon Mwiswa and Damaris Nabwala.

He was a loving father who cared about the upbringing and welfare of his family.

The funeral Service will be held at Sichei Primary School on 22nd November 2025 arid thereafter the burial will take place at his home in Sichei.

Consolata Aoko Obanda

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the untimely death of our beloved Consolata Aoko Obanda of Busia County that occurred at the Luton level 4 hospital in Nairobi County where she was receiving treatment.
Until her demise, the late was working with the Ministry of Coo peratives.

She was a daughter of the late Jacton Obanda Ojwang and mama Susan Akumu Obanda. Loving sister of the late Silvester Osimbo, Cornel, late Ernest, late Calistus, Patrick, Pantaleo and Flora Obanda. Sister in-law of Pauline and Millicent Wanyama.

Was aunty of John, Clifford, Susan, Shadrack, Ernest, Nancy, Dorothy, Sharon, Jacktone, Belinda, Purity, Nick, Miriam, Stephen and Calistus.

on 14th November 2025.

He was the beloved son of Mr. George Amuda Onamu and Mrs. Athibeta (Azibeta) Onamu, a devoted father of Yvonne Mudeizi Onamu, whom he had with Viola Kiptum, and a cherished brother of Alfred Onamu, the late Ebby Onamu, the late Dr. Beatrice Onamu. Antony Onamu, Dr. Rose Onamu, Everleen Onamu, Maureen Weloba, Victoria Odhiambo, and Nancy Onamu. He was nephew of the late Anne Onamu, the late Albert Onamu, Levi Onamu, Erica Musimbi, Alice Onamu, Rose Adego, Esther Ndanyi, the late Ernest lrangi, and the late Shem Irangi.

He was cousin of Geoffrey lrangi, Zimbia Irangi, Jean Irangi, Flora Irangi, Mathew Onamu, Daniel Onamu, Obaga Onamu, Bryan Ndanyi, Edwin Ndanyi, Pamela Onamu, Judy Onamu, and Solomon Onamu.

He was uncle of Doreen Alitsi, Blevins Onamu, Leslie Onamu, George Amuda, Christine Mudeizi, Paul Mwangemi, Cydji Gogan, Denis Onamu, Sophie Kirimi, Lydia Alitsi, Fiona Amuda, and Rashid Khamisi.

He was in-law of Job Weloba, Stephen Munyasia, the late Khamis Mohammed, Getrude Chao, George Odhiambo, and Cynthia Onamu.

Daily meetings are being held at the parents’ home in Soweto, Lumakanda, from 2:00 pm.

The funeral ceremony will take place on Saturday, 22″d November 2025, followed by burial at his home in Lumakanda.

Grace Gateria Micheni

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Grace Gateria Micheni on 15-11-2025 at Ladnan Hospital Nairobi. Director Blue Star Schools and Former Headmistress, Busara Primary School Nairobi.

She was the beloved daughter of the late John Magi Mwamba and the late Joyce Kanini Mwamba.

Beloved wife of Joramson Micheni Thomas. Daughter in law of the late Thomas Munyenje and late Abisagi Nini Thomas and Maritha Thomas of Ndiruni Village, Chuka. She was loving mother of Lewis Murithi, Gertrude Kageni, Lilian Kagendo and Eric Karani. Mother in-Love of Rachel Murithi, Paul Mwangi, David Mwangi and Beth Karam.

She was loving sister of the late Eustace Ndeke, Gladys Godfrey, Patrick Mwarnba, Beatrice Mputhia, and the late Geoffrey Kiriungi.

Sister in law of Godfrey Mylti, the late Evasio Mputhia, Mugambi, Rose Kiriungi.

She was beloved grandmother of Ronne, Grace, Brandon, Briana, Joyinn, Samuel, Bella and Kendi.

Meetings are taking place at the family home in Muthaiga North, PCEA Church Umoia and at their home in Ndiruni kwa Thomas – Kaumo Sub-location, Chuka.

There will be a fundraiser on Saturday 22nd November 2025 at Muthaiga North BG01 residence Memorial at 3.00 pm, to assist the family offset a Huge Hospital bill and cover Funeral Expenses.

Memorial service will be held at PCEA Umoia Church Nairobi on Sunday 23rd November 2025 starting at 3.00 pm.

The cortege leaves KU Referral and Teaching Hospital on Tuesday 25th November 2025 at 6.00 am. Family and  friends will proceed to Ibiriga Primary School for funeral service followed by burial at her home in  Chuka Sub-County, Tharaka Niithi County, Karigiini Village, Mwonge Sub-Location.

He was beloved husband of Jecinta Nyambura. Father of Julius Kinuthia (Forensic Expert), Advocate Richard Mburu, Dr. John Maina (Laikipta University), Evelyn Wanjiku (Gachoka Pry), Hellen Njeri, Simon Kariuki, Joseph Mwangi and Samson Kinuthia (R.M Njiraini Adv).

Brother of Michael Njiraini, Margaret Nfambura, Virginia Wanjiku, Oreste Waweru., Titus Manyeki, Samson Muchoki, Teresa Nduta, Dormitila Wamaitha, the late Sabina Wairimu and Francis Ndamaiyu.

In-law of Rev, Nyaga, the late Joshua Mwangi Miano, Stephen Marubu, the late Kariuki, Wahome, Esala and the late Njama.

Father in law of Grace Mukami, Irene Nyokabi, Mary Wanjiru, Winnie Anavaka, Jane Nyambura, John Chege and Nelson Muriithi. Grandfather to many.

Mrs. Rose Wangu Munge

1947 – 2025

We regret to announce the death of our beloved Rose Wangu Munge, she was born at Mutathini, Nyeri County, to Samuel Njagi and Rahab Kagure. Sister of Catherine Wathi Karanja, and Elvis Nderitu.

Rose was married to the late Samuel Munge Wamigongo. Mother of the late Paul Muthee, Jane Gathiri (Britam), Christine Wanjiru, the late Geoffrey Mwangi, and Esther Wangui. Mother-in-love of Michael Kimotho (Mombasa Continental), Patrick Mwangi, and Charles Chege. Grandmother of the late Valentine Wangu Kimotho, Diamond Njambi Kimotho, Peter Kamau Kimotho, Diana Mwangi, Francis Mwangi, Waridi Wangu Mwangi, and Shanice Chege. Great-grandmother of Jonathan Kimotho.

She will be laid to rest on Monday, 24th November 2025, in Tanyai, Nyeri County.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her home in Kasarani.

 

Kevin Odhiambo Oputo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kevin Odhiambo Oputo, who peacefully rested on 6th November 2025.

Kevin was the beloved first son of the late Mr. Johnson Oputo and Doreen Ojiambo Onyango.

He was a cherished grandson of the late Getrude Onyango and Mzee Jackton Onyango, and a dear nephew of Gordon, the late Moses, the late Mildred, the late Dennis, and Agnes.

Kevin was a devoted brother of Arafat Onyango (late),Violette Brenda, Bella Kalama, Derrick Oputo, Polycarp Oputo, Joan Oputo, Brian Oputo, and Regan Oputo. He was a loving cousin of many, A dedicated family man, a loving husband of Ezel Edith Alunga and a caring father of Ryan Dylan Opoputo and Skyla Larisa Atieno. He was also a foster father of his late brother’s children: Lavenda, Rita, Ashley, Adrian, and Aggy, and a supportive uncle of Desmond, Chloe and Brandon. He was brother-in-law of Bunguswa.

Funeral arrangements take place daily at his home village in Segero, Funyula.

The body of the late will leave Mater Misericordiae Hospital Funeral home in Nairobi on 20th November 2025. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, at the family home in Segero Village, Wakhungu Sub-location, Odiado Location, Funyula Constituency, Busia County,
