Loving sister of Jane Nyambura Nyamu, the late Lewis Gitaru, the late Henry Ng’ang’a, Alfred Kamami (USA), Roxana Wanjai, the late Stephen Kageche, Robert Ng’ang’a (UK) and David Njuguna (USA). Loving husband of Margaret Mwiriki Mupe, father of Elizabeth Priscilla , Japheth Nyambu and Miles Kinyua. Son of the late Rev. Japheth Nyambu Mupe Ullaya and the late Priscilla Mupe. Brother of Mary Nyambu, the late Sarah Njiru, the late Wesley Baraka and Sammy Mupe Ullaya. Son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Kinyua. Brother-in-law of Nelly Ng’ang’a Mupe.

Family and friends will be meeting at Railways Club/Luna Park, Nairobi from 5.30pm for a harambee on Tuesday 18 April 2017.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Thursday 20 April 2017 at 10am.

The funeral service will be held on Friday 21 April 2017, at the A.C.K. Mombasa Memorial Cathedral at 1pm.

The body will then be taken to the Mupe residence for an overnight vigil. Prayers will be held at the home at 11am on Saturday 22 April 2017, followed by the burial ceremony which will be held at the Mbaraki Cemetery at 2pm.

He was the son of the late Joseph Kangari and Sarah Wangari Kang’ari. He was the brother of James Muhu Kang’ari, Timothy Kamau Kang’ari and Sally Elsie Mweru Kang’ari. Joel Ng’ang’a Kang’ari received his education and graduated from Mount Kenya Senior School Academy.

Burial day shall be on Thursday 20th April 2017 at Muhuri Road, Kagodo, Dagorreti South.
