It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mary Njeri Kigathi which occurred on 14th April 2017 at Chattanooga, Tennessee-USA.

Daughter of the late James Kigathi Gitaru and the late Florence Waruga Kigathi. Beloved mother of Florence Waruga Kigathi (Atlanta) and Jean Nyambura Kigathi (Tennessee).

Mother-in-law of Derrick Undo and Corey Moss. Loving sister of Jane Nyambura Nyamu, the late Lewis Gitaru, the late Henry Ng’ang’a, Alfred Kamami (USA), Roxana Wanjai, the late Stephen Kageche, Robert Ng’ang’a (UK) and David Njuguna (USA). Sister-in-law of Gabriel Nyamu, Jane Wairimu, Mary Njeri, Rachel Nyokabi, Grace Wanjeri and Gaudentia Nzioki.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their residence in Kikuyu and Chattanooga. USA.

Jeremiah Amani Mangi Mupe (Jere; Chairman)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Jeremiah Amani Mangi Mupe after a road accident which occurred on the 9th April 2017.

Loving husband of Margaret Mwiriki Mupe, father of Elizabeth Priscilla , Japheth Nyambu and Miles Kinyua. Son of the late Rev. Japheth Nyambu Mupe Ullaya and the late Priscilla Mupe. Brother of Mary Nyambu, the late Sarah Njiru, the late Wesley Baraka and Sammy Mupe Ullaya. Son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Kinyua. Brother-in-law of Nelly Ng’ang’a Mupe.

Family and friends will be meeting at Railways Club/Luna Park, Nairobi from 5.30pm for a harambee on Tuesday 18 April 2017.

Contributions to assist the family can be sent to Safaricom Paybill No. 138655. Family and friends in Mombasa are meeting daily at the Mupe residence in Freretown.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Thursday 20 April 2017 at 10am.

The funeral service will be held on Friday 21 April 2017, at the A.C.K. Mombasa Memorial Cathedral at 1pm.

The body will then be taken to the Mupe residence for an overnight vigil. Prayers will be held at the home at 11am on Saturday 22 April 2017, followed by the burial ceremony which will be held at the Mbaraki Cemetery at 2pm.

We regret to announce the death of Mr Paul Lawrence Orango Nyoturu, formerly of Telkom Kenya and Postel Pensioners Association after a brave battle with Leukemia. He passed on at Coptic Hospital on 9th April 2017.

Beloved husband of the late Grace Agutu Orango. Father of Dunkie, Phoebe (UK), Vall, Jose, Cliff, Noel (Dubai), and Mo. Grandfather of Tanya, Grey, Grace, Eliud, Lawrence and Amani. Son of the late Margarita Nyoturu. Brother of the late Samuel Odundo, John Osala, Dalmas, the late Anthony, Charles, Nelson, Joseph, Joseph, Peter, Elsa, Mary and the late Priscilla. Brother in law of Dan Gor, Jessica, Rose Omondi, Amos Omondi, Boaz, Nyasembo, George, Dr Seth, Barnabas, Martin Onyango and many others. In law of Clarice Olwanda, Liberata Kagwe, Mr and Mrs Kagembi, Mr and Mrs Amake. A fundraiser will be held at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on 12th April 2017 from 5pm. A family mass will be held at 6.30pm on 11th April 2017 at the home in Ongata Rongai.

Other burial arrangements will be announced after the fundraiser.

Joel Ng’ang’a

16/8/1997 – 13/4/2017

It is with humble acceptance that God loved Joel Ng’ang’a and decided to take him home to Him. Your memories will forever remain in our minds for you were a blessing. We admit that we shall miss you, although we know that you are in a better and happier place.

He was the son of the late Joseph Kangari and Sarah Wangari Kang’ari. He was the brother of James Muhu Kang’ari, Timothy Kamau Kang’ari and Sally Elsie Mweru Kang’ari. Joel Ng’ang’a Kang’ari received his education and graduated from Mount Kenya Senior School Academy.

Burial day shall be on Thursday 20th April 2017 at Muhuri Road, Kagodo, Dagorreti South.

Let us celebrate and praise Christ Jesus our Lord for his short, sweet and full of blessing, life together.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Mr Samuel Kirigi Mwangi which occurred on Saturday 16th April 2017.

Samuel was the son of Jane Njeri and the late Ashford Mwangi. Husband of Joyce Wangui and the late Jane Wanjiru.

Father of Gathogo Mwangi (Hyperteck Electrical Services Ltd), David Wangigi, Kamau Kirigi (Scandan Power Ltd), Geoffrey Mwangi, Jane Njeri, Eunice Wanjiru and George Githinji.

Brother of Elishiba Wanjiku, Francis Kirigi, Michael Kuria, Mary Njeri, Catherine Waithira, Rebecca Njambi, Rebecca Wanjiku, Peter Kiiru, Grace Wangui, Joe Mwangi, Stephen Gathuma, Faith Waithereo, John Maina, Peter Kiiru and Charles Waweru.

Family and friends are meeting at Blue Springs Hotel along Thika Super Highway from 6pm daily.

The funeral procession will leave Githumu Funeral Home in Kandara, Murang’a County at 8am on Saturday 22nd April 2017. The funeral service and burial will be held at his farm at Gacharage Village, Kamukabi Sub-location, Kigumo, Murang’a County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Omongina Mariarosa Bosibori Nyambane and her grandson Emmanuel Makori Nyambane popularly known as A.K.A Ayeiyaa Poa Poa of the Churchill Show. Mariarosa passed away on 9th April 2017, after a long battle with throat cancer, while A.K.A Ayeiyaa passed away on 14th April 2017, through a tragic road accident along Magadi road Nairobi, Mama Mariarosa was wife to the late Herbatus Nyambane and co- wife to omongina Ebisiba Kwamboka; Daughter of Bogonko and Moraa Ndati (all late). Sister of Makori, Sobera, Nyachiro, Boera, Bochaberi (all late), Ngoge, Keburiati and Basweti. Sister In-law of Domiciano, Magoma, Kwamboka(all late), Peter and Nyangige. Daughter of the late Luke Muigai and Mrs Lillian Wangari Muigai (The Luke Hotel, Roasters Inn, Nairobi, and Cravers Inn, Thika).

Sister of Allan Mwangi Muigai and George Kihia Muigai. Loving Aunt to Luke and Lillian.

Family and friends will be meeting for prayers on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th April 2017 from 6pm at their family home in Ridgeways Springs, Kiambu Road.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 8am on Monday 24th April 2017 for a funeral service at the Ndunyu Chege Polytechnic grounds (Gatanga) from 10am, and thereafter burial at the family home.

One year has passed since that sad day, When the one we loved was called away. God took her home. It was His will, But in our hearts she lives still.
