We are sad to announce the death of Isaac Mael Gisemba after a long illness bravely borne which occurred on 2nd November 2025. He was a retired Police Officer.

He was the son of the late Grace Kwamboka and the late Charles Nyambati.

He was the loving husband of Alice Moraa Nyantari. Father of Nancy, the late Emily, Fred, Simon and Jeremiah. Grandfather of Genevieve, Ingrid, Emmanuel, Brandon, Nellydayden,Alice, Ruth and Ivy.

He was brother of the late Ogendi, the late Jerusha, the late Maroro, the late Zablon, the late Omani, Bisase, Nyanduko and the late Ratemo.

Uncle of Peter, Micah, Donald amongst many others.

In-law of Leah, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Martha (USA) and Eucabeth (USA), the late Milka and the late Mary.

Main fundraising will take place on Monday, 17th November 2025 at Holy Family Bascilica in CBD from 4.00pm.

Burial will take place on 21st November 2025 in Molo.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the family of the late Elvis Gichuhi Maara announce his peaceful passing on 12th November 2025.

He was a dear son of Mr. Thomas Maara Gichuhi of Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) and Dr. Margaret Wachu Gichuhi of JKUAT. He was brother of Juliet Maara, Nellius Maara and Lynette Maara.

Uncle of Chelsea Imani, Mila Makenna and Nadya Wachu. He was cousin to many including the Bahashas and Kihoros. He was nephew to many aunties and uncles.

Loving daughter of the late Mzee Henry Oyugi and the late Mama Josephine Nyaboke Oyugi. She was a daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Lawrence Mogeni and the late Mama Teresa Nyaboke, among others.

Rotarian Jacqueline Mumbi Kimaru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rotarian Jacqueline Mumbi Kimaru, which occurred suddenly on the 11th of November 2025. Until her untimely death, she was a senior manager at Forever Living Kenya, President Nominee of the Rotary Club of Syokimau and passionate member of the Mercedes Benz Club of Kenya.

Jacqueline was the daughter of the late Christopher Kimaru and Margaret Kimaru of Burguret Location Nanyuki. Sister of the late Kenneth Karuri, Collins Kiragu, Angela Kimaru, Patricia Njeri,Vivian Kirigo, Patrick Githaiga and Victoria Wanjiku. Aunty of Jolene Nkatha.

Fiancé of Saul Ongalo.

Sister in law of Kelvin Mwirigi. Niece and cousin of Kiragu’s family, Michael Wachira, and Karuri’s family, friend to many people and communities.

It is with profound sorrow that the family of Sally Ondiek Ogot of Pittsburgh, PA, George Ondiek of Olney, MD, Baraka Ondiek of Marietta, GA, Steve Ondiek of Mombasa, and Samson Ondiek of Gaithersburg, MD, announce the passing of their beloved mother, Ruth Ondiek. Ruth Ondiek passed away on Saturday, October 15 after a brief illness.

Mama Ruth was the wife of the late Prof. Patroba Ondiek, also of Wichlum Beach.

She was also the beloved grandmother of Trevar, Trestan, Terran, Damali, Amana, and Jasmine Ondiek and Elisa and Sophia Ogot.

Mother-in-law of Milton Ogot, Wezi, Mlurine and Frida Ondiek.

The burial will take place in Sirakaru on Saturday 15th November 2025.

Enock Kiprotich Boinett

We regret to announce the death of Enock Kiprotich Boinett of Merewet Farm, who passed away on 4′ November 2025, while undergoing medical treatment at Reale Hospital, Eldoret. Until his demise he was headteacher at Chelalang Primary School.

He was married to Ruth Jepkogei Kiprotich. He was father of Collins Kimaru Boinett and Gideon Cheruiyot Boinett.

Son of the late George Boineu and Leah Boinett of Merewet, Uasin Gishu County. Loving brother of Caroline, Maryann, Robinson, the late Peris, Robert, Edina, Isaack, and Tracy.

Son-in-law of Rtd. Chief Joseph Kipsang Kiprotich and Mary Kiprotich of Kapkitony, Mao Location, Elgeyo Marakwet County. Brother-in-law of Abraham, Diana, Priscall,Ann, Andrew, Rhoda, lsaack, and Becky. He was a nephew, cousin, and uncle to the larger Boinett family and a friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and moral support at his residence in Kimumu, Eldoret town, and at Merewet Farm in Uasin Gishu County.

The cortege leaves MTRH Eldoret on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 9.00am, for a memorial service at A.I.C. Vineyard, Kimumu, Eldoret, followed by in overnight stay at his residence in Kimumu. The funeral service and burial will be held on November 15, 2025, at Merewet Farm.

Camiluse Antonio Okello Lubalo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Elder Camiluse Okello Lubalo, which occurred on Sunday, 2nd November 2025, at his home in Waliera (Benga) Usonga Location, Siaya County.

He was the son of the late Lubalo Okoya and the late Mama Agutu Mwenda.

The late Mr. Okello was the loving husband of Brigitta Atieno Okello, cherished father of Elias Oduor, Caroline Akoth, Janet Aluoch, Veronica Achieng, Edward Otieno “Edu Lights”, David Otieno and Belinda Auma; doting grandfather of Claudia Mokera, Cindy Akinyi, Bridgit Atieno and Astrid Ulani Otieno; great grandfather of Nathan Hawi Okello, Nigel Havi.

Brother of the late Alexandre Owino, Regina Akoth, Paskalia Adero, Betty Musodho & the late Felix Otieno(Maria); Father in law of George Nyachiro & John Onunga,

The burial will take place on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, at his home in Waliera (Benga), Usonga Location, Siaya County.
