APPRECIATION

We the family of the late Eliud Murimi Nganga wish to thank God Almighty for his life and the time we had with him.

Words cannot express our gratitude for the prayers, abundant words of encouragement and for the spiritual, moral and financial support we received, not just following the passing on of our beloved pillar of the family which occurred on 21st February, 2017, at his Eden Farm in Karibaribi, Thika, but throughout his illness over the past few months.

Special thanks go to the doctors and staff of Aga Khan Hospital who attended to him both in Nairobi and Thika; Gospel Preachers Church, Karibaribi, Thika; Deliverance Church Ngong’ Road; Members of the Clergy who took time to minister to the family; funeral committees of Nairobi and Thika; Prodigy Designs; Apex Security and Entyce Media Solutions. We are especially grateful to all our friends and relatives who took time to visit Dad in hospital, to extend words of comfort to us and attend the send off at his Eden Farm. There are many who stood with us whom we cannot mention by name, but we kindly ask that they may accept this as an acknowledgement of our gratitude for the love and support they accorded to us.

Jones Mwashushe Mwawasi

We regret to announce the death of Jones Mwashushe Mwawasi on 1st March 2017, who was shot by robbers on 14th January 2017.

Son of Dafton Mwawasi and Eunice Wonge of Wumingu location, Taita Taveta County. Brother of Hope, Robert and Grace. Husband of Regina Wangari. Father of Wonge, Wakesho, Johnson, Waceke, Francis and Dafton.

There will be a major fundraising on Saturday 11th March 2017 at 2pm at Railway Club to offset a large Hospital bill incurred following hospitalization at Coptic Hospital ICU.

APPRECIATION

We the family of Wilson Kamau Muchina wish to express our utmost sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for all the love, sympathy and support we received from all our relatives, friends, church members and well wishers following the promotion to glory of our beloved son, husband, father, brother, nephew, uncle, grandfather and friend.

We acknowledge with deepest thanks and profound gratitude your kind messages, spiritual support, personal visits, tributes and gracious and generous contributions and all manner of kindness we received.

We particularly wish to thank the committees at All Saints, Buruburu, Murang’a, Makindu together with our friends, relatives and well wishers for their dedication and commitment in offsetting the Hospital bill and making funeral arrangements during that trying time.

Rose Njeri Macharia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Rose Njeri Macharia on 6th March, 2017, after a short illness.

She was the Training Coordinator, at SOS Regional Training & Resource Centre, in Karen. Beloved daughter of John Ngigi Macharia and the late Veronica Wambui Macharia. Sister of Dr. Geoffrey Muragori Macharia and Betty Muragori, Jane and Peter Waweru, James and Naomi Kamau Macharia, Peter and Rebecca Merumo Macharia, Sam Kanyingi Macharia and the late Isaac Mwangi Macharia. Loving aunt of Macharia, Wamboi and Wamalwa Muragori; Kimani, Macharia and Wambui Waweru; Macharia and Mwangi Kamau; Martin, Michael and David Merumo; Chelsea and Michael Kanyingi and Ken Mwangi. Grand-aunt of Ryan Kimani. Much loved friend and colleague of many, especially the SOS Children’s Villages International fraternity.

The memorial service will be held at 2.30 pm at the Nairobi Chapel, Ngong’ Rd. next to Jamhuri Park, on Monday 13th March, 2017.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 7am, on Tuesday 14th March, 2017. The Funeral service will be held at the graveside at her Father’s farm at Nyonjoro, Lanet Nakuru.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that I, Ascah C. Mboya, do announce the sudden death of my son, Kelvin Mboya who passed on after a short illness at his residential house after being discharged from Lodwar Referral Hospital.

Beloved husband of Mirian Owino and father of Mackel, John Cenar and Betty. Grandson of Mzee Elisha Mboya and Mama Milka Mboya of Kamser Seka. Brother of Castro, Cynthia, Eric, Omondi, Willis and Brian. Brother in law of Betty, Susan, lscah and Diana among others.

The cortege leaves Star Mortuary in Kisumu on Friday 10th March 2017. Burial will take place on Saturday 11th March 2017 at Boya Onjiko Kobong’o, Nyando Sub-County.

Daughter of the late Rev. Charles Suba and Dorcas Suba of Mwamba Turbo. Beloved wife of Antony Kimani Kihuga of Eldoret. Mother of Dorothy, Phyllis, Eunice, Charles and Sammy Kimani.

Sister of the late Ebby Ouda, Grace Suba, Margaret Wanjala, Jane Kokonya, the late Isaac Suba. Sister-in-law of the Kihugas of Eldoret. Grandmother of Anastacia, Davil, Ciara, Imani, Ebby and Tasha.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday 11th March 1017.

May the Almighty God rest her soul in eternal peace.

Loving father of the late Judy Kamene (Kamesh), Ann Mutune Mutua, Anthony Matuku (Matush) and Michael Nzoka (Solo). Father-in-law of Ssgt Robert Mutua (KDF) & Anita Matuku. Brother of Zephania, Musavi, Nzila, Kaviti Kioko & Eva. Step brother of the late Mutambu, the late Ndinda Ounga, Kisundu, Kamote, Ivuli (GSU), Mutie & Kathini: Brother-in-law of Jacob Ounga (Pollman’s) and Mutunga Kioko (Pumwani). Uncle of Mutuva and Kambua. Grandfather of Sido, Sandy, Lynette, Adrian, Ada among others. Great grandfather of Brianna, Ayden, Ivan among others. Great friend of Vincent Mutambu (KCB).

Family and friends are meeting daily at Buruburu Phase III Hse No. 257 and at Tumaini Hse Meeting Chambers behind Kencom from 5.30 pm for burial arrangements.

There will be a major harambee on Tuesday14th March 2017. Burial will take place at his rural home in Keutunda, Mutomo Sub County, Kitui County on the Saturday 18th March 2017.

The death has occurred of Fredrick Kirumbi of Kiambaa village, Kiambaa sub-county, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Musa Gikai and Priscilla Ndiko. Father of Moses Allan Mwaura (Abdi) of Ngong, Thomas Ng’ethe of Karen, George Ndung’u (CRBC) Lang’ata and Godfrey Mungai of Ngong’, the late Priscilla Ndiko, Anthony Wainaina and Margaret Nyaguthii. Brother of the late Agnes Njeri Ragaca, Douglas Ng’ethe, Peter Mbiyu, Sarah Njoki Mwangi, Mathew Mbici, Arthur Koinange, Samson Mbuthia, Virginia Wanja Muiruri, Andrew Njoroge and Wairimu Gikai.

 

Friends are meeting daily at his home Kiambaa, next to residence of Senior Chief Koinange for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nazareth Hospital at 9:00am for service at ACK St. John Church Kiambaa at 11.00am on 14/03/2017. Thereafter burial at his farm Kiambaa.

 

James Wachira Wanjohi

We regret to announce the death of James Wachira Wanjohi. Son of Jerioth Mumbi and the late Noko Wachira of Gichira village, Nyeri District.

Husband of Jane Wambere. Father of Lilian Wambui of KU, Juliet Wachira of TUM, Edwin Wanjohi of Nyeri Primary. Brother of the late Eunice Wairimu, Pauline Muthoni, Nyaga Wanjohi, the late Joyce Nyambura, the late Benard Baragu, Rose Wahito and Purity Wanja.

Meetings are being held at Asian Quarter Canteen Mombasa, Eureka Hotel, 5th Floor, Tom Mboya Street Nairobi, Voi Kariokor and at Gichira home for prayers.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home on Wednesday 15th March, 2017 at 10.00am for a funeral service at Potters Hhouse redeemed Christian Church of God in Lavington, along lsaack Gathanju Road, and thereafter burial at Lang’ata Cemetry at 2.00 pm.
