It is with broken hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our dear Christine Achieng Okech, after a gallant battle with multiple myeloma.

Beloved daughter of the late Rev Jotham Okech K’Omware and Mama Jeniffer Adero Okech of Soso Village, Yala Township, Siaya County. Loving mother of Ernest Otieno, the late Arnold Odhiambo and Gloria Atieno. Amazing sister of Adams Lanyo, the late Rodgers Ranyondo, the late Jack Orony, the late Fredrick Omware, Margaret Ludia Mbinji, Fanuel Buyu, Emmanuel Otieno and Isaac Okwiri. Meetings are taking place daily from 5,30pm at Norwich Union House, opposite Hilton Hotel. There will be a main harambee on Tuesday 14th February 2017 at 5.30pm at the same venue to raise funds to funeral expenses and hospital bills.

The cortege will depart Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Adams Arcade Mortuary, on Thursday 16th February 2017 at 9am for K’Olielo Village, Tala Ngegu, Kochia, Homa Bay County. Christine will be laid to rest at K’Olielo Village on Friday 17th February 2017.
