Husband of the late Salome Alice Agola, Abigael Okwala, Philgona Atieno and Esther Otieno. Son of the late Mariko Aliech Ywaya and the late Keziah Orando Aliech. Father of Dr. Sam Ochola of Nairobi City County Government, John Mitula, late Dickson Omondi, James Ywaya, Michael Oduor, Daudi Osodo, Saulo Oringo, Geoffrey, Bosco, Otieno, Dimba, Elizabeth Odila, Jael Odeny, Elseba Odhiambo, Lilian Mbuya, Emily Adhiambo, Monica, Florence, Mary and Julia.

Father-in-law of Mary Ochola, Evelyn Mitula, Benta Omondi, Mildred Ywaya, Goretti Oduor, and Liner Oringo. Brother of Charles Nyakeno, Wilfred Juma, Edward Tinga, John Omolo, George Odhiambo. James Dede, Monica Amolo (all deceased), ex-Chief Wilson Aliech and Christopher Oriwo. Brother-in-law of Nelson Ochieng’, Nguono Ogola and Nerry Ouma among others. Beloved Uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

There will be a burial fundraiser at his home and at Nairobi City Hall on 31st January 2017 at 5:00 pm. The Cortege leaves Star Funeral home Kisumu on Friday 3rd February 2017 at 9:30 am. Funeral service will be held at ACK St. Lukes Nyagoko Church at 12 noon.

Burial will take place on 4th February 2017 at his home in Nyagoko, South Asembo location, Siaya.

It is with humble acceptance of God s will that we announce the death of Gideon Njuguna Gachohi, of Oklahoma City who passed away on January 14, 2017 in a motor vehicle accident on Hwy 1-40 in Weatherford Oklahoma. He was born on 9/26/1971 in Ndumberi, Kiambu, the son of Mr and Mrs. David Gachohi (Tene) Ngotho.

Gideon leaves behind his beloved wife Jane; his son David and his daughter Naomi. He is also survived by his parents David Gachohi (Tene) Ngotho and Naomi Njeri Gachohi of Ndumberi; his brothers: Njenga Gachohi, Peter N Gachohi, Kimani Gachohi, Mungai Gachohi, Sisters: Mrs Wamoro Kihoro, Nancy W Gachohi,Wanjiru Muhura,Wanjiku Gachohi, Mrs Muthoni Nduati. His cousins: Rev Njuguna Ngotho of Boston, Dorothy N Mungai, Leonard G Mungai, Lucy W Mbugua, Gabriel K Ngotho, Gorret W Mwihia, Josephine W Maina. He is also survived by his in-laws: the late Mercy Waweru, Peter Kariuki Wambugu, Rose Gathoni Wambugu,Victor Maina Wambugu and Michael Kanyi Wambugu. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are held at his parent’s home in Ndumberi, Kiambu. The funeral will be held on 01/31/2017. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on at 8am followed by the funeral service and burial his parents farm in Kangoya, Kiambu.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hon Sarah Nyamvula Warner HSC (Head of State Commendation), MCA Mombasa County of Karibu House Mzambarauni in Kilifi County, which occurred on Monday 23rd January 2017 in Hospital in Bangalore, India.

Daughter of the late Vera and the late Arnest Gore. Wife of Ray Warner. Mother of Lilian Mariga Ngari. Sister of the late Freddie Irumba, Edward Rugaju, the late David Rwahuire, the late Lydia Heskin, William Kature, James Kilifi and sister in law of Josephine Kilifi, Justin Charo and George Jira. Grandmother of Isaiah, elija and Adina.

There will be a church funeral service at ACk Emmanuel in Kengeleni on 31st January 2017 at 12 noon. The final funeral service will take place at 10am on Wednesday 1st February 2017 at her home Karibu House in Mzambarauni, Mtwapa, Kilifi County.

Brother of Mary Wanjiru and Peter Karin, Catherine Njeri, Roselyn Wangui and Chege, Ruth Wanjiku, Mercy Wanjiru Mwangi, Mercy Gathoni and Maina, Samuel Mugo and Florence, Christoper Njoroge and Sara, Samson Ng’anga and Mary, Joseph Mugwe and Emmah. Son-in-law of the late Alex Karanja Nduati and Naomi Njeri. Brother-in-law of George Karanja, Susan Nyambura, Anne Wanjiru, Wambui Kibe, Samuel Kanjabi, Fridah Njoroge and Charles Mwangi. Pam’s Send-off

We celebrate the life of Pamella Muyoma Obessa formerly of Oriental Commercial Bank.

Pamella was born on 18th January 1972 and fondly known to family, friends and colleagues as Pam. Pam passed away on January 24th, 2017 after a short illness.

Beloved mother of Melvin Kwame Ogolla and Browlin Kala Ombongi. Daughter of Joram Obessa Onyando and Margaret Kaveza Onyando. Beloved sister to Tom Abwao Obessa, Mathew Obessa, Beatrice Nyabanda [Rwanda], Joyce Obessa-Dieyi [USA], the late Lydia Obessa and Sandra Obessa. Auntie of Angella, Tony, Lewis, Julie, Heidi, Aimee, Summer, Mannie, Malcolm, Marley, Alex, Ammy and Jasmine. Sister in-law of Cecilia Abwao, Moses Nyabanda, Priscilla Ogonyi, Mark Dieyi, Lillian Ogolla Achola, Joram Ogolla and Derek Wasike. Pam was a friend of many!
