Keith Gichanga Kiragu (Abdul Hussein Mohammed)

A time to mourn has uisited the Kiragu’s famity. It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance we announce the death of Keith Gichanga Kiragu (Abdul Hussein Mohammed) who passed away on 26th of November 2016 in the United Kingdom. He was a colorful artist, a loving son, a kind brother and an amazing uncle and cousin to many. He is survived by his parents Capt. Charles John Ngatia Kiragu and Jane Mumbi Kiragu. His siblings Gerald, Wachira and Wanjugu (Anne) have lost a big brother.
Kyla, Karis, Khtoe, Kartmel and Amara found the coolest uncle in him. Join our family as we celebrate a life well lived at our family home in Nyari Estate House number 133 from 6prn.
A memorial service will be held at the Karura Community Chapel on the 9th of December from 2pm to 4 pm.

Beloved son of Geoffrey Mugambi Irware and Eddah Kairuthi Mugambi of Jeda Hardware – Maua and Tropikana Hotel Kitengela.
Brother of Sharon Mugambi and Ronald Karani Mugambi of Sunshine Secondary School, Nairobi. Nephew of Isaac Gichira, Steve Mutuma, Mrs. Mary Mburugu, Dr. Gladys Mwiti, Josephine Karambu, Jediel Gichuru, Anne Kinya, Dr. George Mwiti, & Sheila Munene. Cousin of Nancy Nkirote, among others.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Midland Hotel Maua, PCEA St. Andrews Church- Nairobi, Maasai Discovery-Kitengela and Club Tropikana – Kitengela from 6pm for funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital mortuary on Tuesday 6/12/2016 at 4am to Kaaga Primary School Grounds, Meru Town for a funeral service at 11am, followed by a fundraiser to offset the hospital bill.
Thereafter the body will be laid to rest at his father’s home at Gakurine village (near KEMU).

Grandson of the late Peter Kaguara and the late Nazarene Muthoni, Francis Macharia Ngondo (Mihuti, Kangema) and the late Hannah Njoki Macharia. Brother of Peter Kaguara (Sirville Lodge Elementaita), Nazarene Muthoni (Nation Media Group), Anne Njoki (KIM Naivasha) and Jocelyn Wangeci (Moi University, Eldoret). Uncle of Nicolene, Davine and Jelani. Nephew, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Jamani Funeral Home, Kayole, Naivasha on Monday, 5th December 2016 at 9am for burial at Gituru, New Karati Scheme, Naivasha.
