Husband of Jane Muthoni Mbuthi. Son of the late Joseph Mwangi Mwaura and Jane Muthoni and step son of Elizabeth Wambui.
Father of June Valentine Muthoni, Effie Njoki, Abby Njeri and Sammy Mwangi.
Brother of late John Mwaura and Grace Waithera, Lucy Wangari and Mary Njoki.
Step brother of Rose Wanjiru, Mary Wanjiku, Ruth Wanjuhi, Emily Waithera, Grace gathoni and Ann Njambi.
Brother in law of Esther Mwaura of Chimoi Village, Lugari Kakamega County among many others. Son in law of Mr and Mrs Stephen Mucheru. Cousin of Fr Dr Gerishon Kuria, Munyutu of Ronga, the late Bishop Johnson Mwaura among others.
Meetings are taking place daily at 4pm at the following venues: Murang’a, Mukawa in Murang’a, Magomano Hotel in Nairobi and Goshen Garden in Kiriani.
There will be a funeral service at Kiru Boys’ High School on Friday 25th November 2016 at 1pm.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home on Saturday 26th November 2016 at 6am for burial at Mile Inya, Nyahururu in Nyandarua County.
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Haron Momanyi Ogetii wich occurred on 1st November 2016 at Ram Hospital Kisii. He hails from Bomaregwa Village Ritembu Sub-Location, Boochi Borabu Ward, Magena division, Kenyenya Sub-County, Kisii County.
Father of James Nyabere, Jerusha Nyamoita, Josiah Onyangore (late), Jeremiah Otundo of MMWL, John Nyangena (late), Stephen, Biyogo (USA), Grace Kemuma, Henry Nyabuto (USA), Nicodemus Oanda (Kisii County), George Morara (USA), late Charles Ogetii (Advocate), Shem Ondieki (late), Julius Boyogo (USA), Hezron Michieka (East African Community), Joyce Kwamboka (late), Norah Bosibori, Tom Sindiga (late), Duncan Ogetii (Contractor Kisii county), Sam Matasi (USA) and Ezekiel Nyambega.
He was brother of Ombui Ogetii, Onukoh Ogetii, Ogachi Ogetii, Mang’era Ogetii, Nyabwari Ogetii, Juma Ogetii, Ongori Ogetii, Moraa Ogetii, Kerubo Ogetii,  Moraa Maini Ogetii and Nyanchama Ogetii.
Uncle of Paul Onuko  (late), Ogembo Ombui, John Ogachi, Abel Mang’era, Zablon Nyabwari, John Juma, Samson Nyaringo, Samwel Marucha, John Onserio, John Maini and many others. In-Law (Korera) of Nackson Mong’are, Senior Chief Matayo (late) , Bichange Nyaana, Abincha Nyakeruri, Late Kenyanya, Mecheo, Ongori, late Watson Mogere and others.
The late Mzee Haron Momanyi died at the age of 94 years leaving behind a wife (Mama Eunice Nyangweso),11 sons, 3 Daughters, 77 grand children and 39 great grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest on Friday 25 November, 2016 at his farm in Ichuni Village, Ritembu sub-location, Boochi Borabu Ward Kisii County,

Burial service will be held at his home on Saturday 26th November 2016 starting 9.00am.

She was the only daughter of M’Mungiria M’Kirigia and Muchengi M’Athurungu. She was sister to Musa M’Twerandu, M’Mungiria (Maranyu).
Mother to Flora and John Gituma, Josephine and the late Solomon Gitonga, Margaret and the late Joseph Mbogori, Dr. Joel Muthuri and Doris Muthuri, Erastus and Joyce Kimathi, Beatrice and Rev. Dr. Elijah Mbogori, James and Mary Kimonye. Step mother to Joseph and the late Sarah Mutai, Ruth and the late Justus Kabiti, Marion and the late Gikunda Marete, Bishop Gitonga and Mariselia M’Raaria, Elijah and Rael Muriungi, Eng. Stanley and Dr. Eunice Kirimi, John and Ann Kimaita. (Machuguma), Nancy and Nyamu Marete. A cherished auntie, Grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother to many.
