Serbian Ambassador to Kenya Ivan Zivkovic is dead.

Kbctv.co.ke reports that Zivkovic’s Personal Assistant Simon Sila, said the envoy died on Sunday evening while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital.

He said the 69-year-old was rushed to the facility after developing breathing problems at his Runda home.

He said the embassy is awaiting communication from the Foreign Affairs Ministry on where to transfer his body.

Family and friends are meeting on the 21st and 22nd November 2016 at Holy Family Basilica, St Mother Teresa Hall for funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 23rd November 2016 at 8am for a funeral service at ACK Kahariro and thereafter burial at her home Thuita Village, Murang’a County.

Saad Raheem Sheikh, Voice of Kenya Radio Broadcaster, Founding Member of the Young Muslim League, President of the University of Nairobi Students Union, President of Stanford University’s International Student Association, East African Airways Global Advertising Manager, Advocate for women’s rights at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Career Diplomat and long time Representative and Director of  the United Nations Population Fund, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2016 at Nanyuki Cottage Hospital. “Innal lillahi wa inna illahi rajaoon – To God we belong and to God shall we return.” Prayers were held at Pangani Masjid in Nairobi the following day and he was buried at Lang’ata Cemetery shortly thereafter. He was 80 years old and had suffered from Alzheimer’s for the last 11 years.
Raheem is mourned by his beloved wife, Mahmuda Kathwari Sheikh, his two daughters, Misbah Mubeen and Minha Kauser, his son-in-law, Faisal Alam Quraishi and his three grandchildren, Murad Saad, Sathad Khidr and Seher Nur.
He was the son of the late Wazir Begum and the late Nabi Baksh, Nairobi City Council Officer, brother of the late Inayat Begum, the late Naseem Ahsan Qureshi, the late Suraiya Khanum, the late Abdul Rahman Bazmi Shaikh, the late Inayat Begum, the late Abdul Rasheed Sheikh, and is survived by his youngest brother, Muhammad Amin Sheikh.
Raheem was kind, humble and generous beyond measure. He traveled the world but loved his birthplace and homeland of Kenya most of all. He was a proud Kenyan citizen and it’s a blessing that he spent his last days by the foothills of Mt. Kenya in Nanyuki, his favourite place on earth.
Raheem will be missed by his family and friends here and across the world. May Allah grant him Janaat-al-Firdous, the highest garden in heaven.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home Nyeri on Thursday 24th November 2016 at 8am followed by a funeral service at St. Joseph Kangaita Catholic Church at 11am.
Burial will be at his home Kangaita Village Nyeri County.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the Kangaita home and at Holy Family Basilica (St. Dominic Hall) on Monday (22/11/2016) and Tuesday (23/11/2016) , 5:30 to 7:30pm.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Vitalis Shibwayia Muhatia which occurred on 16th November 2016 while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.
Captain Vee (as known by his family and friends) is the last born son of the late Athanas Muhatia Shibwayia and Mary Masitsa Muhatia of Lirhanda Village, Kakamega East Sub-County. Brother of Vincent, Erick, the late Mathews, Maximillah, Eunice, Faith, Ignatius and Michael.
Loving fiancée of Collete Magana. Brother in-law of Elishba, Pastor Leakey, Churchill, Fidelis, Anastacia and Esther. Cousin of the Lumalas’, Chimwanis’, Lisanzas’ and the Lijodis’. Nephew of Ayuma, Janet, Juliet, Hellen, Peris, Gladys, Margaret, Maurice, the late Muliamba, the late Otunga, Andrew, Makenzie, the late Misiko, the late Zacharia and John. Loving uncle of Reenah, Shannon, Ryan, Sydney, Sean, Lavender, Soledad, Amos, Malia, Jayden, Jayson, Liam, Bezaleel, Chantell and Ashley.
He was a former student at Mount Kenya Senior School and a continuing.student at Kenya School of Flying (Wilson) and United States International University (USIU), Nairobi.
The body is at Kenyatta University Mortuary, and will leave on 24th November 2016 for burial on 26th November 2016, at our rural home in Kakamega, Lirhanda Village.
 Friends and family members are meeting daily at Jacaranda Gardens, off Kamiti Road for burial and other arrangements. Your prayers and support is and will be highly appreciated.

Today marks one year since you suddenly departed from us. It feels just like yesterday when we listened to your stories, laughed and generally enjoyed having you around.
Not a single day passes without us thinking about you and missing you. Your spirit of love, forgiveness, family unity and devotion to Christ continues to hold us together and lives through us each day.
We, your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends, miss you deeply but we are consoled knowing you are now in a better place, up there with the angels, watching over us.

He is a former Councillor of Nairobi Ngara ward.
