With profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mzee Nemwel King’oina Oruke which occurred on 2nd October, 2025.

He was son of the late Oruke Nyasae, late Dina Mong’ina,the late Milka Kemunto.

He was a loving husband of the late Jerusha and mama Teresa Bosibori and a devoted father of Samuel, late Margret, Gitamo (Youth Affairs & Creative Economy), Morara, Magati (USA), Everline, Jeremiah and Nyambane (Agha Khan Hospital Mombasa).

He was brother of Ongeri, Onchiro, late Omare, Elias, Omwoyo, Kibwage, late Nyamokami, Ruth, Moraa, Kerubo, Catherine, Mokeira, late Teresa, Nyanchama and Kemuma.

He was a nephew of the late Omwoyo, Gitamo, Nyambane, Nyang’ute Nyang’era, Nyairo, Ondiba, Onyiego, Mosirigwa, Mogere, Reuben and others.

Cousin of the late Mogaka,Angwenyi, King’oina, Makori, Orora, Shem Amota, late Momanyi, Alex Nyairo, Nyantese Obure, Kemuma, Tinga and others.

Brother-in-law of the late Otoki, Sosi, Moywaywa, Nyantika, Linguistic, Mireri and many others.

Father-in-law of the late Cecilia Gitamo, Mong’ina, Teresia, Nyariki, Stellah, Kerubo, Sunnitar, late Anthony Steki and late Faith Mong’eri.

Co-in-law of Nyakweba, Nyamache Ontirr, the late Onkundi, Oyioka and Siocha.

He was an uncle of Nyang’ute, Mong’eri, Joash, Marion, Dinah, Oruke, Fred Orora, aphet Mogaka, Helena, James, Elder Omare, Principal Gitamo, Hon.Chris Obure, Juma and many others.

He was a beloved grandfather of Charles, Makori Steki, Dennis, Mataya, Cosma, Milka, Davi, Gintu, Glen, Mokeira, Kerubo, Ezra, Daniel, Nyaboke, Dinah, Shane, Nevine, Ariana, Ongeri, Kerubo,Vera, Prudence, Kwamboka, Bosibori and many others.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are ongoing at his rural home at Gesusu, Chibwobi village, Nyaribari Masaba Constituency.

Main fundraising will be held on Wednesday 15th October, 2025 at United Kenya Club, Nairobi starting at 5.00 pm.

The cortege will leave HEMA Hospital Mortuary on Sunday 19th October, 2025 and laid to rest on 20th October, 2025 at his home in Gesusu, Chibwobi village Nyaribari Masaba Constituency.

Son of the late Mzee Francis Onwong`a & the late Mama Paulina Masese; step-son of the late Gesare, late Moora, and Mama Robina.

Loving husband of Eunice Moraa Ayiera.

Brother of Winfrida Ondieki, Lawrence Rasugu, Priscilla Gesare. Hellen Nyamusi, Teresa Michieka (USA), Justus Nyarunda, Roselin Nyanchama, Andrew Maina, Charles Rasugu, John Rasugu among others.

Son-in-law of the late Samwel Ongaga and Prisca lyanganyi.

Devoted father of Vincent Ouko (USA), Stephen Nyarango, Edward Omariba, Evelyn Kwamboka, Jackline Nyamorambo, Philip Onwong’a (USA), Lucy Kemunto, Catherine Kerubo, and Maureen Nyanchama. He leaves behind 21 grandchildren. He was a relative, cousin, uncle, mentor, and friend to many, whose kindness and wisdom touched countless lives.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are ongoing at Isoge Settlement Scheme, Nyagesenda, and Pekeshe Restaurant, Uchumi House Nairobi.

Main Fundraising shall be held on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at Professional Center, Nairobi, and t his home in Isoge Settlement Scheme.

The cortege will leave Christa Marianne Mission Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, October 16th, 025, at 9:00 AM. Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at his home in lsoge Sub-location, Ensakia Location, Borabu Sub-county.

With heavy hearts, we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved matriarch, Mwaitu Esther Mueni Kaluku, which took place on Friday, October 10th 2025.

Born in 1928 in Mutulani Village, she was the daughter of the late Kilonzo Mbuli and Syukwia Kilonzo, and the sister of the late Kavisa, Ngeli, Wanzuu, and Benson Kavavu Kilonzo.

She was married to the late Kaluku Mwania, and were blessed with eight children: Sammy Kaluku, the late Janet Musenya, Georgina Munyiva, David Kilo (Masenti), Benson Kaluku, Anna Kyenze, Felistus Nduku, and the late Kyalo Kaluku. She was a loving grandmother to 37 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily (Mon-Fri) at her home in Kalamba, Isambani Village, Makueni County, from 10:00 AM. On Saturday, October 18, 2025.

The cortege leaves Nuclear Funeral Home in Wote town at 7:30 AM, for a burial service at her home.

With hearts full of love and deep sadness, we share the news of the passing of Elder Charity Kirigo Githinji — a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, auntie. and a true pillar of her community. She was promoted to glory on the 9th of October, 2025 after a long illness.

She was a daughter of the late Jefferson Gatheca and the late Nyachomba Kirichwa and Ella Muthoni Gatheca.

Charity was a sister of Margaret Gakenia, Joseph Mwangi, Anne Nyaguthii, David Matheri, Elizabeth Karungari, Elder Wamuyu, Florence Wangu, Samuel Munyiri and the late James Njagi.

She was a wife of Zacharia Githinji Wahome. She was loving mother of Anthony Wahome, Nelson Murimi, Mercy Wanjiku and twins Mwai Githinji and Dashon Githinji. Mother in-law of Susan Murimi, Jimmy Nyerere, Beth Mwai, Rachel King’uru. She was a doting grandmother of Sharon & Jeremiah Wahome; Tiana & Natasha Murimi; Keisha & Ashley Nyerere; Githinji & Kagema Mwai; Nuru, joy & Zoe King’uru. Great grandmother of Dior Myla Kawira.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home at 6:30 AM on Thursday, 16th of October 2025 for the funeral service at PCEA Ngaini, Mathira West and burial thereafter at the Ngaini home.
