It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Mbutei Gota, of Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development Headquarters who departed this life peacefully on October 02, 2025.

Son of late Gota Munyuko, and late Margaret Wambura from Kiandieri Village, Kimandi Sub-Location, Kirinyaga Sub-County, Kirinyaga County.

Peter was a dedicated husband of Margaret Wangechi Mbutei Gakuya, and a devoted father of Rita Claire Nyambura Mbutei, Patience Gathoni Mbutei and Late Mary Wanjiku.

Burial preparations are taking place every day at his home in Saika Estate, Nairobi and Kiandieri Village, Kimandi Sub-Location, Kirinyaga Central Sub-County, Kirinyaga County.

Alfred Mwandale Kibandah

It is with humble acceptance of Go we announce the passing of Alfred Mwandale Kibandah on 24th September 2025 illness bravely borne.

He was the son of the late Jamin Agombi and the late Norah Sandere.

He was the husband of Margaret Sayo Muandale, father if Felix Ogola, Eugene Avoga Bradley Libese and father in-law of Eunice Achieng.

He was blessed with six grandchildren namely Marcus, Moziah, Marvin, Myah, Kyra and Alfred.

He was the son in-law of mzee Amos Kegode and the late Karen Kigunyi. He was the brother in-law of Edith Ketenyi, Janet Kegode, Bernard Amata and Jescah Kegode.

He was a brother of the late Renson Oyangi, Epainitus Kibanda, Nelson Angombi, Jescah Mulusa, Zebedayo Kisaka, Janet Adisa, Saphan Magana & Caleb Kibanda, Kennedy Kisia and Betty Angombi.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 8th October 2025 at 1pm at Friends International Center (Quakers) Church Ngong Road.

The body will leave the family residence in Donholm on 9th October 2025 morning for Kitale. He will be laid to rest on Saturday 11th October 2025 in Kibomet — Forest Village, Kitale,Trans Nzoia County.

Mama Jane Nyaboke Mogeni

We regret to announce the passing of Mama Jane Nyaboke Mogeni, which occurred on 1st October 2025 at Cana Hospital.

Beloved wife of Mzee David Mogeni Nyang’wono (Health Administrator, Narok County Referral Hospital). Loving mother of Edith Kerubo (KCB), Vivian Kwamboka (Gems School), Emily Gesare (HFC), Reagan Nyang’wono,Andrew Oroo, and Caleb Nyang’wono.

Daughter of the late Mzee Peter Onkundi Magwaro and Mama Mary Kerubo Onkundi of Ekemuga Village, Amabuko, Kisii County, and daughter-in-law of the late Joannes and Clemensia Nyang’wono of Mwa’Rogito Village, Bonyaoro, Bonchari Sub-County.

She was sister of Richard, Grace, Benard, Eric, Naomi, and the late George, Ruth, and Reuben.

Cherished grandmother of Faith Marinda and Leona Tess.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home and at Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi, for funeral arrangements.

David Kamau Njoroge

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. David Kamau Njoroge, founder and chairman of DK Engineering Co. Ltd, on 4th October 2025.

He was the son of the late Bernard Njoroge and the late Wangui Mbachu. Stepson of the late Magdaline Njeri and the late Jane Wangari.

Loving husband of Teresia VVairimu Kamau. Father of the late Samuel Njoroge, Leonard, Margaret, Jane, Daniel, Nancy, Irene, Mbachu, Wambui, Gitau, the late Catherine, and Brenda.

Brother of the late VVanjiku Makumi, Stephen Njane, Kahuhu, Kariuki, and Eunice Kiarie, among others. Cousin, uncle grandfather and great grandfather to many.

There will be a memorial service on Thursday, 9th October 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at PCEA Church Thindigua, Kiambu Road.

The carriage leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Friday, 10th October 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral service and burial thereafter at his home in Subukia, Edgewood Farm.

Jackline Naitore Mugambi

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Jackline Naitore Mugambi, which occurred on 1st October 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Mugambi Amathi Ndung’uje, and a devoted mother of Felix Muguna Mugambi, Limor Nkirote Mugambi, and Rihana Kendi Mugambi.

Daughter of Joseph Gatobu and Lydia Nkuruguchu. Daughter-in-law of Daniel Ndung’uje and Silveria Kathomi.

Sister of Kirema & Nkatha, Makena, Gaichugi & Mugambi, Mwirigi, Rose, the late Kimathi, Doris, Beatrice, the late Alex, and the late Morris.

Sister-in-law of Kiriinya Ndung’uje and jeptoo, Kinya and Clifford. She was a loving aunt and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Nakuru Old Town Hall from 5:00 p.m. for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Cool Breeze Funeral Home, Meru, on Friday, 10th October 2025, at 8:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at MCK Ciothirai, Giaki, North Imenti Sub-County, Meru County. Thereafter, burial will take place at the family home in Giaki.

He was the beloved son of the late Isaiah Masoso and Elizabeth Rupia.

A devoted husband of the late Janifer Okutoyi, and is survived by his dear wife Rosemary Mwenje. A loving and committed father of the late Dr. Honington Temesi of National Oil Corporation, Ibrahim Munyendo of Crown Paints Kenya PLC, Isaac Koinange, Eunice Leah, Caroline Nichesa, Philis Omito, Achieng, Rupia, Davin, Risper, Benard Nelima, and Esther.

A cherished brother of the late Henry Walumasi, Simon Shireku, the late Elder Wanga, Jesicah Khafwire and Julia Mutsoli.

Father-in-law of Lillian Aura of Mount Kenya University and Caren, and a cherished grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Mung’ang’a Village, Mumias East Constituency for prayers and funeral arrangements.

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr Charles Juma Nyabuto of Nyabisia Village, Bassi Masige West, K1sti County which occurred on 26th September, 2025 in his humble home. Until his death, he was an employee of the Executive Office of the President.

He was the husband of Rose Omina Nyabuto, father of Victor Juma Nyabuto, Nigine Nyaega Nyabuto, Nelly Nyakara Nyabuto and Liz Kemunto Nyabuto. Grandfather of Ethan Nyabuto, Takim Nyabuto and Denzel Omurunga.

Son of the late Samuel Chuma and Keremensia Kemunto, son in law of Roseline Osita and the late Samuel Askari.

Brother of Selina Moraa, Charles Makori, late Alice Gesare and Andrew Oseko.

The brother in law of Mary Achando, Ainea Askari, Andrew Askari and Wilson Omukhonya.

Cousin of Zachari Swanya, James Nyabuto, Henry Osoro, John Onyancha, Erick Mwaniki, Thomas Mwaniki and Evans Mogongo.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Umoja 3 at 6.00pm to 10 pm for funeral arrangements, the main Fundraising will be conducted on Wednesday 8th October, 2025 at Garden Square along City Hall way at 5.00 p.m.

Burial date is on 10th of October, 2025 at his home in Bassi Masige West Kisii County.

Mother-in-law of Elizabeth Kariuki, Asst. Chief Francis Njoroge, Rev. Dr. Karimi Mumbui, Peter Muchemi, and Ndung’u Kimathi. She was a grandmother and great grandmother to many.

The cortege will leave Outspan Hosp. Mortuary on Friday 10/10/2025 at 8.30am for a service at PLEA, Ihururu at 10.00am and there after burial will take place at her home Kiamathambo village.

 

Henry Njoroge Kangethe

We announce the passing on of Henry Njoroge Kangethe. He previously worked with Kenya Navy and Kenya Pipeline.

He was a beloved husband of Nancy Njeri. Father of Joan Wangari, Joel Ngugi, Julius Kangethe. Charity Njeri, Fabian Mwaura. Mercy Wangui, the late Amos Njuguna, Patrick Ngiciri, and Hellen Nyambura.

Cherished brother of Josephine Nyarubura, Joseph Njuguna, the late Samson Mungai, Lucy Nyakeru, and Benson Kimani.

Grandfather of Lolyne, Leaslay, Natalie, Stephanie, Ryan, Wesley, Henry, Janelle, Precious, Gianna, and Braven.

Meetings and burial preparations are taking place at his residence in Riandegwa Kabati, Kandara.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati at 8:30A.M for the funeral service and burial on Friday, October 10.

Eng. Ezra Mwenda Kirema

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Engineer Ezra Mwenda Kirema, who went of be with the Lord on 29th September 2025 after a short illness.

Born on 20th June 1994, Era was a devoted husband of Doreen Mwendwa and a loving father of Ivan Mutethia.

He was the cherished son of the late Paul Kirema and Teresia Gakui, and a beloved brother of Nathan, Ken,Antony, Lilian, and Alex.

He was son in law of Jeremiah Miriti, Elizabeth Nkatha and Triphosa Gacui. He was a brother-in-law of Faith, Linnet, Sally, Purity, Kirianki, Karim’, Kathomi, Gakii, Mutura, Ken, Murangiri, Karambu, Maingi and Lily.

He was an uncle of Alex, Celine, Stacey, Junior, Rayallen, Trizah, Susan, Brian, and Nillan.

Engineer Kirema served with great dedication and humility in the County Government of Meru, where he earned deep admiration for his commitment of excellence and service to the community.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, 10th October 2025 at 12:00 PM at All Saints Kaliene Catholic Church, followed by burial at his family home in Mikinduri.

Meetings are ongoing at Mwethe Village and Royal Prince Hotel, Meru, for prayers and .,arrangements.
