The cortege leaves Lenmek Hospital Mortuary on 9th October, 2025 for an overnight stay at his home. Funeral service and burial will be held on 10/10/2025 at his home in Endereti village at Riasimba, Bomachoge Sub-Location, Kisii County.

It’s with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Salome Wanjiru Welch (Devon Photo Lab Naivasha) which occurred in the UK.

She was the daughter of the Late Martin Muraya & the late Priscilla Muthoni Muraya and wife of the late Derek John Welch.

Doting mother of Martin Welch and Donna Welch, Mother in Law of Elizabeth Mwaluka.

Loving Sister of the late foram Kamina, Esther Wangari, John Gichu, Samuel Wanyoko, the late Florah Wanjiku, Joseph lguri, Angeline Mwihaki, Michael Maina and Alfred Mwangi, sister in-law to Mary Kamina, Grace Gichu, Mary Wanyoko, Margaret iguri and Esther Mwangi.

She was a caring aunt and granny to the Murayas, Muthonis among many others.

There will be a memorial service on 9/10/25 at Lavington United Church, Karai-Naivasha.

The Cortege will leave Nanyuki Cottage Funeral Home on 14110/25 at 8:30AM for a funeral service at her home in Katheri along the Nanyuki-Meru Highway where the Funeral Mass will commence from 10:00 AM and thereafter interment at the same venue.

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Robert “Bob”Otieno Sande of Lwak K’Oracha, Asembo West, Rarieda, Siaya County after a long illness bravely borne.

Jobson Joshua Kabugua Ngari

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dobson Joshua Kabugua Ngari on September 29, 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa, after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Rev. Agnes Njeri Ngari, devoted father of Dennis Mbugua, Lance Katwa, and Allan Rutambo. Father-in-law of Motlotleng, and cherished grandfather of Isabelle, Roberta, Yehoshua, Ariella and Leigh-Ann.

Born in Kibirigwi Village, Kirinyaga County, of the late Joshua Kabugua Rutambo and Lydia Wamiru Kabugua, Dobson was the brother of the late Susan Wanjiku, the late Jafeth Muriuki, the late Benjamin Ikahu, the late Eliphaso Njogu, the late Nehemia Mwangi, the late Justus Kiboko, and the late Norman Kinyua.

A man of deep faith, he also ministered as a Pastor with the Watchmen’s Prayer Ministry — Israel/Africa Project, faithfully serving congregations in Kiangwachi and Kibirigwi.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home in Kabati on Wednesday 8 October 2025 at 9.00am for the funeral service at 11.00 a.m. followed by the burial at his home in Kiangwachi.

Paul Mathe Chege

7th October 1967 — 28th September 2025

It is with deep grief and sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Mathe Chege who rested on 28th September 2025 after a long battle with illness. Until his demise, Paul was an Assistant Manager, Patent Division, Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIP1).

Paul was husband of the late Mary Wanja Mathe, father of Vincent Chege Mathe, Joseph Mukui Mathe, George Karanja Mathe and Patrick Chege Mathe.

He was born on 7th October 1967 to the late Jacob Chege Mathe and the late Lucia Mumbi Chege. He was brother of George Karanja Chege, David Muturi Chege, Francis Waweru Chege, Joseph Wairegi Chege, Hannah Wanjiku Chege, Maria Wambui Chege and John Ndirangu Chege.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 8th October 2025 at Gacharage, St. Matias Mulumba Catholic Church and thereafter burial at his home in Gaitete Village, Gatundu South, Kiambu County.

Meanwhile the family and friends are meeting at their residence in Greenwood Estate, Kasarani opposite ICIPE Head Office for prayers.

Husband of Rosemary Kuri Kinoti. Father of Dorothy Gitonga, the late Paul Mwiti, Doreen Kendi and Dr. Dennis Murerwa.
He was father-in-law of Martin Gitonga, Dr. Samuel Matheri and Doreen Gitonga. Grandfather of Ryan Mureti, Shayna Wambui, Lynn Ntinyari, David Matheri, Leo Mutuma, Cleo Nkatha and Abigail Kinya.

He was brother of the late Daniel Muthuri, the late Jane Gatimba, Susan Kanyiri, Solomon Kiambi, the late Samson Kathurima, onathan Kimathi and Lucy Gatwiri.

He was brother-in-law of Dorcas Muthuri, Ben Ireri, Elizabeth Kiambi, the late Gladys Kathurima, Jane Jono, David Ngure, Justus Mugambi, Zipporah Makena, Hellen Mwari, Isaac Nteere, Peter Muriithi and the late Wilfred Gituma. He was a beloved uncle and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Kaithe Village at 4.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Cool Breeze Funeral Home at Kirachene – Meru on Thursday 9th October 2025 for funeral service at MCK All Saints Kinoru – Meru. He will later be laid to rest at his home, Kaithe- Kinoru Meru.
