It is with deep sorrow, yet with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing on of the late Peter George Mutiiria Mbacha, which occurred on 17th September 2025 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi, after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Damiano Mbacha and the late Sophia Muthoni of Kithangari Village, Gikui Location, Igoji Sub-County, Meru County.

George was the beloved husband of Catherine Karimi Mutiiria and the cherished father of Annrose Kagwiria, Fridah Mwendwa, Isaiah Muriithi, Martin Muriuki, Dr. Flavio Mugendi, and Jane Liz Kathomi.

He was a proud father-in-law of Linus Owire, John Mburu, Faith Mwikali, Lillian Muthoni, and joe Kariuki.

George was a devoted grandfather of Vivian Kinya,Victor Muthomi,Valeria Kiende, Georgina Njambi, George Gaiti, Jeffrey Muthomi, Francis Munyao, Veronica Karimi, Amani Nkatha, Imani Nkirote and Imam Mureti. He was great grandfather of Crystal Bakita.

He was a son-in-law of the late Mwiandi Ntaugu and the late Agnes Muthoni, and a brother-in-law of Margaret Kaimuri, the late Justin Gitari, the late Trizah Wanja, the late Paul Pius Mugo, the late Solomon Kibaara, the late Evelyne Kanjiru, the late Evangeline Kathure, Rose Murungi, Jacinta Nkonge, and Irene Mwaki.

The funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday 27th September 2025 at his home in Kithangari Village, Igoji from 11:00 am.

Aunt of Ryan, Emira, Ethan, Yvonne, Joy, Praise, Precious, Charles and Joseph among others.

She was niece of the Kithekas, the Musees, the Malombes the Mutukus among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at their homes in Kaveta Kitui, Kyondoni Girls’ Sec. Kitui, Kangundo Machakos and at Moonlight Hotel in Kitui Town.

Burial will be on 26th September, 2025 at their family home in Mbondoni Village, Matetani sub – location Kangundo, Machakos County.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital private wing on Thursday 25th September 2025 and burial will take place on Friday 26thSeptember 2025 at home Gesiaga SDA Church ground, Bosamaro Chache, Nyamira County.

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Alfred Amugune Yalwala on 13′ September 2025 in Eldoret.

He was the beloved son of the late Jotham Yalwala Obindi and the late Norah Isigi Yalwala, of Mautuma – Lugari.

He was a loving husband of Reverend Regina Amugune, a devoted father of Raynold Yalwala, Edison Obindi, and Precious Isigi, and a cherished father-in-law of Noreen Wangoi.

He will be fondly remembered as a brother-of Joram Ambehi, Edith Kagasi, Dan Nyaleso, Kennedy Kibande, Prof. Pamela Ngugi, Douglas Kegonyera, Everett Obindi, Caroline Afanda, and Angela Yalwala.

He was also a beloved brother-in-law of Odilia Ambehi, John Kagasi, Hellen Nyaleso, Emelda Kibande, Paul Ngugi, Josephine Kegonyera, Everline Obindi, Kennedy Afanda, and Allan Kaisha.

He was a son in-law of the Miami family and the Maina family and vasanji of Mr & Mrs. Ben and Angeline Kareithi.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, 26th September 2025, at Kidiwa PAG Church, Eldoret, starting at 9:30 AM.

The burial will follow on Saturday, 27th September 2025, at his home in Mautuma, Lugari, Kakamega County.

He was the son of the late Mzee Andrea Misumi and the late Mama Herinah Ndede Misumi of Wahanda Village, East Kadiang’a sub-location, South-East Nyakach Location. He was a sibling of Joseph Andang’o, Meshack Owiti Misumi, the late Mathews Mbaga, Gerson Misumi (Tamarind Group) and the late Peter Adam. Step brother of the late Jared, Alice, Deborah, the late Dan, Nerry, Joel, Maurice and Apollo.

Beloved husband of Phoebe Were Ondego.

Son-in-law of the late Mzee Yusuf Odino and the late Mama Loise Senior Bishop Emeritus Odino of Nyakach Agoro, Thurgem. He was brother-in-law of Hulda, Grace, Rev. George Hezekiah Owiti, Rose, the late Grace Misumi, Filda, the late Monica, Julia, the late Dorcas, the late Akello, the late Joash, the late Samuel, the late Onyango, the late Jane and the late Leonida.

He was a doting father of the late Danson Bob, the late Eunice, Jemima Atieno, Hon. Benard Ochieng (Judiciary), Andrew Misumi (UK), Millicent Anyango (KNH), Clarisse Auma, Ascah Amollo (TSC), Stella Awuor and Joshua Juma (USA).

Father-in-law of Batuli Ochieng, Anna Misumi (UK), Hilda Juma (Oshwal).

Uncle of Timothy (USA), Steve (USA), Irene, Lillian, Nancy, Clifford, Derrick, Robert (UK), Fred (Dubai), Ann, Stephen, Paul (UK), Emily, Benjamin (USA), Dr. Cynthia (USA), Mark, Wasonga (UK), Arch. Mzee will be laid to rest on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at his home in Wahanda Village, East Kadiang’a sub-location, South-East Nyakach Location, Kisumu County.
