The Board and the Management of Social Health Authority (SHA) together with the family of Erick Bett, regret to announce the death of Erick Kiplangat Bett which occurred on 07/09/2025 following a long illness while undergoing treatment at MTRH (Eldoret).

He was son of Ezekiel Kilel and Bornes Kilel of Ndarawetta, Bomet Central in Bomet County.

A loving husband of Daisy Chelangat and father of Brian Kipngetich, Allan Kimutai, Faridah Chepkirui, Harriet Chepkorir and Sheren Chebet.

He was brother of Kenneth, Peter, Walter, Bernard, Japhet, Collins, Zedy, Joice, Caroline, Rose and Daisy.

He was step son of the late Sofia Kilel of Sibaiyan village and step brother of Ronald, Weldon, Betsy, Edna, Liner, Dr. Beatrice, Rose and Karen.

He was son in-law of Samwel Koech and Rael Koech of Kapkesosio Village. He was brother-in-law of Bishop Ngerechi, Kerich, Rotich,Judy, Peter, Rebecca, Faith, EIi, Sigei, Norah, Alice, Doris, Scandy, Mathew, Joyce, David, Sosten, Isack, Nelson, Walter, Jescah, Judy, Beatrice and the late Joice.

Friends, family and church members are meeting daily at his home Chepngaina village and Ndaraweta village in Bomet Central for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave AGC Tenwek Hospital on 17/9/2025 at 9am for funeral service and burial on 18/09/2025 at Ndaraweta home.

Friends and relatives will gather at Umash Funeral Home on 25th September 2025 at 3 00am. Thereafter a Requiem Mass at Kiranda Catholic Parish- Karungu at 2.00pm on the same day. The cortege will leave for his home in Gunga Karungu for night vigil and thereafter burial on 26th September 2025, Gunga Village.

With a heavy heart, we announce the death of Brian Musyoki Mwatha a teacher of Biology and Chemistry at Kiaguthu Boys’ in Murang’a County, Kahuro Sub County after a short illness.

He was a committed teacher and will be greatly missed by his students, teaching and non teaching staff as well as the entire KIGGZ family.

Memorial Service will be held today, Wednesday 17th Sep, 2025 in the school starting at 2.00pm.

He did his Bachelors of Education at Machakos university between 2015 to 2019.

Before his demise, the late Raymond was serving in our Narok Branch office.

The late Raymond was husband of Seraphine Mwende Olende, Father of Mary Abigael Akinyi of Asumbi Girls, Raymond Owuor (Junior) and May Redemptor Adhiambo of harmony preparatory school Narok.

He was son of Hon. Joseph Owuor Council member Nyamira National Polytechnic (NNP) and Mary Sebensia Owuor of Rongo University. He was a brother of Emily Akinyi among others.

The late Raymond was cousin of Vincent Kongo of KEFRI, David Kongo of Siala T.T.I, Stephen Omondi of Germany, Mercy Ooko, Winnie Ooko, Kennedy Atieno among others.

He was son in-law of Mr. Michael Ngila and Redempta Ngila of Tala, Machakos County. the late Olende was brother in-law of Constance Ngila — Gretsa University, Charity Ngila and Ruth Ngila.

The late Raymond was nephew of the late Chrispin Kongo, the late Charles Ooko, Lucas Abich Otieno – Water Resources Authority (WRA), Austin Oyugi Otieno — Rongo University, John Ngare Olende of Kusa, Cornelious Olende, Japheth Okoth Olende among others.

She was step sister of Mary Njeri, Simon Kanyutu, Nancy Muthoni, Alice Njau, Godfrey Kairu, John Njoroge, the late Edward Mburu, Peter Waweru, Jane Wanyua, Margaret Wambui, and Grace Huini.

She was mother of Judy Wanjiru, Godfrey Kihuha, Moses Muiru, Jennifer Muthoni, Jane Wanyua, the late Eddah Wanjiku and John Muguiyi.

She was grandmother of Gichuhi Wanjiru, Gichuhi Kihuha, Njeri Muiru, Gichuhi Muthoni, Gichuhi Eddah, Njeri Muguiyi, Gichuhi Wanyua, and many others.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her Ngababa home, near Kibiku Primary School, from 3:00 p.m, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi, on 19th September 2025 at 8:30 a.m. Prayers will be held at Emmanuel Church, Kibiku, starting from 11:00 a,m. Thereafter: burial will take place at her farm in Ngababa, next to Kirangari bridge.
