It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Otieno Adede, formerly of Kenya Airways who passed away on 29th August, 2025 at Homa Bay Referral Hospital.

He was a loving husband of the late Grace Amok Sabaya of Alego-Mariwa.

He was the son of the late Zablon Adede and Damaris Rweya.

He was a doting father of Monicah Adhiambo Colecraft.

Brother of Rusanael, Grace, Esther, Pamela, Fredrick Adede, the late Gladys, Festus, Samwel and Dennish.

His sisters-in-law are Jane, Roseline Adede, late Sophie and Judith.

Uncle of Jack, Erick, Judith, Dorcus, Victor, Laureen, Robert, Hellen amongst others.

Father-in-law of Henry Colecraft of Ghana.

Cousin of Abel, Prof Ngwena, late Dr. Were, Ker Riaga and Omiti Ogallo.

The cortege leaves Kirindo Mortuary on Thursday 18th September 2025 and burial will take place on 19th September 2025 at his home in Kodera Village, Kasipul-Homa Bay County

With deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, vie announce the passing on of Jenifer Ndunge Mangu. Jenifer was a distinguished leader whose service spanned several respected institutions. She held key leadership roles within the African Inland Church, where she was known for her passion for child evangelism and generosity for the vulnerable, a leader within Child Evangelism Fellowship, the Rotary Club of Machakos and many others.

Jenifer was an industrious and accomplished businesswoman, being the visionary behind Makamithi Enterprises Ltd, a respected business headquartered in Machakos.

A mother of many, her legacy of leadership, faith, and entrepreneurship remains an enduring inspiration.

Mum departed peacefully, surrounded by family, at her home in Machakos early on Saturday September 13, 2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Jonathan Muia Kaatine and Rhoda Kaieni Kaatine and the cherished wife of Gideon Mangu. Mother of Crispus Mangu, Nikolas Thitu, Titus Kaatine Mangu, and Peter Milo Mangu.

Loving sister of the late Richard, the late Mary, the late Shadrack, Joyce, John, Elizabeth, Helen,Ann, and Jane.

She was honored as mother-in-law of Merana, Marie, and Mit’a, and as dear grandmother of Amina, Nora, Mirabehn “Behni-Claudia” and Jacob. Jenifer was a treasured sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin, friend, and confidant to many.

Family and friends are gathering daily for prayers and condolences at her home in Upper Kiandani, Machakos, every day from 4 p.m. and at T-Tot Hotel (Wednesday and Friday only) at from 5.30 p.m to 7.30 p.m.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held at the Machakos Golf Club, followed by final rites at her home in Kiandani. Burial will be conducted privately by the immediate family.

Chairman of African Ministers of Transport and Communication, Chairman Conference of African Ministers for Public Service, Chairman Multisectoral Constitutional Review Commitee, Vice Chair Salaries & Remuneration Commission (SRC), Executive Chairman Thabiti Finance & Insurance Brokers LTD, Member Parliamentary Committee on Administration and National Security and Kenya’s Special Envoy to South Sudan Peace Talks.

He was son of the late Petro Anyango Okongo and the late Gaudencia Opiyo Anyango.

Husband to Patricia Atieno Otieno, the late Jane Agola Otieno, and Hon.Dorothy Atieno Otieno.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Norman Bedford Pim on Monday, 8th September 2025, after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Francis Bedford-Pim and the late Esther Chesaina Bedford-Pim.

Husband of Lilian Chepkorir Maiyo. He was a loving father and grandfather, cherished brother, uncle and friend of many.

He was the dear brother of David Kipkoech Kogo, Celia Bedford-Pim, and Francesca Pim-Kaime.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Norman Bedford Hospital on Thursday, 18th September Pim 2025 at 10:00 AM to his Kitale home in Spring Valley, opposite Winner’s Chapel.

He will be laid to rest on Friday, 19th September 2025 at his Kitale home.

It is with humble acceptance of will that we announce the passing of Mr. James Kihia Muriuki on Tuesday, 9th September 2025. He resided in Umora I Estate, Nairobi County.

He was a loving husband of Rose Kihia, cherished father of Kenneth Muriuki and Lucy Wairimu and grandfather of Trevor Kihia and Myles Kihia.

He was the beloved son of the late Stephen Muriuki Rete and the late Priscillah Mumbi, and stepson of Esther Wambui Muriuki. He was a son-in–law of Mary Muthoni Kanuri.

He was also a brother-in-law of Kagai, the lateWmgui, the late Lucy Wanjohi and Kabui.

Meetings and prayers are being held daily at his residence, Umoja I Estate, House No. M5, every evening.

She was the wife of the late Josphat Kimani. She was the mother of Samuel Ndungu, Gitau Mwara (Advocate), Lucy Waturi, George Njoroge, Grace Wanjiku, and Hannah Njoki.

Daughter of the late Hosea Wandau and Grace Wanjiku (Ting’ang’a). Sister of the late John Kiania, the late James Muthama, Mary Wanjiru, the late Monica Wairimu, Gerald Ndiritu and Esther Gathoni (Mwara Investment Mombasa).

A younger mother of the family of Kiarie Gakuo (Ndumberi) and Njoroge Gakuo (Ruiru).

Dom was sister of Felix Okatch EBS, John Okatch, Benard Okatch, and Tom Okatch.

She was an aunty, friend and grandmother to many.
