He was the son of the late Masese Nyagokwa and the late Bathsheba Nyakerario.

Husband of Mama Yunuke Nyansiaboka, Abisiba Kenyanya and Esther Monyangi.

Brother of the late Angima, the late Ndarera, the late Kwamboka, the late Kengere, the late Nyantabara and Isaiah. Brother in-law of Kezia, Oyagi, the late Siambe, the late Nyandieka, Ongaga, and Mogoi.

Father of the late Pamela, Evans, Robert, Paul, Milkah, Enosh, Margret, Fred (Canada), Bernard, Geoffrey, Dominic, Zacharia, Damaris, Joyce and Abel.

Father in-law of Margret, Jackline, Catherine, Nancy, Amos (Canada), Robert, Patricia, Aska, among others.

The main funds rive will take place at home on 16th September 2025.

The cortege leaves Nyangena Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 18th for Riokindo home. Burial will take place on 19th September 2025.

Charity Muya Kemama

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mrs. Charity Muya Kemama which occurred on the evening of Friday, 12th September, 2025, after a short illness.

Charity was the beloved wife to her late husband Amedeo Raymond Kemama. Mother of Violet Karimi, Roy Kaaria, Kenneth Muriuki, James Mwenda, Freda Wanja Kemama and Brian Kimathi. Mother-in-law of Julie Mbela and the late Mary Mbinya.

Daughter of the late Wilson Njeru Kaithungu and the late Alice Maitha Ndenderu. Sister of Eunice Mbiro Kinyua and Jepson Riungu Njeru.

Daughter-in-law of the late Romano M’ikura and the late Biribina Karimi. Sister-in-law of the late Cornelius Mawira, the late Rael Kajuju, late Patrick Gitonga, the late jema Munene, Nduguti, Peter Kinyua and Salome Gaji Riungu.

Grandmother of Sandra, Kevin, Charity, Mumbua, Ian, Hope, Makena, Melvin, Koome and Amedeo. Great grandmother of David Oduor and Michael Oyugi.

Family and friends will be meeting for funeral arrangements at the All Saint Cathedral, Nairobi on Tuesday, 16th September 2025 and Wednesday, 17th September, 2025 from 5.30 p.m.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday 18th September, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at St. John The Evangelist Church, Karen.

He was a loving husband of Margaret Njeri Kimani.

Son of the late Nahashon Gichohi and the late Josephine Nyarumbwa.

Dear father of Robert Gichohi of Puyallup WA, Josephine Nyarumbwa of Scotland, UK and Joyce Wangeci of Canada. Father in law of Geoffrey Waikwa Muchiri. Doting grandfather of Jermaine Kimani, Stephen Kimani, Andrew Kimani and Muchiri Waikwa.

Loving brother of the late Edith Kimani, Rachel Njuguna, Martin Mwaura, the late Geoffrey Githinji Gichohi, Martha Njuguna, John Chiira, Joyce Gikonyo, Sarah Mwangi & Emily Wanjiru.

Son-in-law of the late Duncan Mathia and the late Joyce Thuku.

It is with great sorrow, sadness and humble acceptance of Gods will that the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) Board of Directors, Management and Staff announces the untimely demise of Solomon Ngigi Mburu, which occurred on 8th September, 2025 after a short illness. The late before his death, was working at Kenya Forestry Research institute (KEFRI)- Nyeri Forestry Research Sub-Centre.

He was son of Mburu Wainaina and the late Virginia Murugi of Githunguchu village- Nyahururu.

Husband of Jane Muthoni, son-in-law of George Waigwa and the late Grace Wanjiru Waigwa of Kangubiri village-Nyeri.

Father of Virginia Murugi, Alice Wanjiru, Robert Mburu, Joyce Wanjiku, Zachariah Waigwa and father-in-law of Samuel Karega.

Grandfather of Reann Wanjiru and Neila Muthoni.

She was a daughter of Daniel Mwai Gathuki and Loise Nyawira.

Wife of Charles Kinyua Karanja. Mother of Keneth Karanja Kinyua and Maryann Nyawira Kinyua.

Daughter-in-law of Nichodemus Karanja and Elizabeth Nyambura.

She was a sister of Janet, Francis, Mary, Jennifer, Josephine, James, Faith, Josphat, John and Henry. Auntie of Teddy Mwai, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Sportsview Hotel from 6.00pm at Aberdare Hall.

There will be a requiem mass on Tuesday 16th September 2025 at Queen of Apostle’s Catholic Church – Ruaraka, opposite (Safari Park Hotel) from 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma – Kabati on Wednesday 17th September at 8.00AM to St.Allamano Catholic Church – Sagana, for funeral mass at 10.00am. Thereafter the late Nancy will be laid to rest at her farm in Githuguya, Sagana, Kirinyaga County..

Beloved husband of Prisca Akoth Othieno and father of Lilian Othieno, Jackline Othieno, josephat Othieno, the late Silvia Othieno, Lazarus Othieno, and Adelide Othieno, father-in-law of Maximillah Wabwire.

Wife of the late Michael Mbue Gicheru of Ikohokoho

Daughter of the late Ndegwa Muchina and Hannah Wanjiku of Njau-ini, Kigumo Muranga. She was a sister of the late Muchina Ndegwa, the late Sarah Nyambura, the late Marion Kiundu, the late Tabitha Mugure, Rebecca and Ruth.

A matriarch of the Mbue “s family, she was the Mother of Beatrice Kabora, the late Moffat Kamau, the late Joan Mwaniki, Hannah Kariu, Joseph Ngumba, Sarah Kamau, the late Peter Ndegwa, David Muchina, Muchiri Mbue and Marion Gikonyo.

She was a grandmother, a great grandmother and a great great grandmother of the Kaboras-Kangema, Kamau’s- Gatia-ini, Mwaniki’s — Kimotho, Kariu’s — Mairi, Ngumba’s Ikohokoho, Kamau’s Mairi, Ndegwa’s, Muchina’s — USA, Muchiri’s and Gikonyo’s.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at her home Ikohokoho starting at 3:00 pm and at Mogomano hotel Nairobi starting at 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Githumu funeral home on 17th September 2025 at 8.30 am and thereafter the burial and service will be held at home, Ikohokoho farm, Mairi, Muranga.
