Until his demise he worked for the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government and was also a businessman in Nakuru town.

He was the son of Johnson Kinyanjui and Agnes Kinyanjui. Son-in-law of Evans Makori Ogata and Margaret Kwamboka Makori.

He leaves behind a widow, Bevin Moraa Makori and children (Giannah and Johnson). Brother of Njeri, Maina and Ndung’u.

Brother-in-law of Shem, Diana, and Muthoni. Uncle of Chastin, Ivy and Ayla.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his Greensteds Home in Nakuru from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home (Nakuru) on Wednesday, 17th September, 2025, at 7.00am. Funeral services and burial will take place on the same day at Ngorika Location, Rotara Village.

The main harambee will be held at all Saints Cathedral in Nairobi on 16/09/2025.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret Wangui Gatama and loving father of Stephen Njuguna, Paul Karanja, Mary Wambui, James Kiongo and Isaac Munyoroku.

He was brother of the late Alice Muthoni Kihuha, Ruth Waithera, Kiongo Njuguna, Eunice Njeri, Dr. Njoroge, and Samuel Thiongo.

Daily prayers and meetings are being held at his home in Kiamworia Village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital (K.U.R.H) by-pass on Tuesday, 16th September 2025, at 7:00 am for the funeral service, which will be held at PC.E.A Gitare Church at 9:00 am. Thereafter, the burial will take place at his family home, Kiamworia Village, Kiganjo Ward, Gatundu South Constituency, Kiambu County.

Julius Karanja Nyutu

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lay-Reader Julius Karanja Nyutu of ACK St Thomas Aquinas Parish – Tena, who went to be with the Lord on Thursday, 4th September 2025, following a tragic road accident.

He was the beloved son of Eliud Nyutu and Gladys Wanjiru Nyutu. Son-in-law of the late Catherine Wangui Kahunyo.

He was the devoted husband of Caroline Wachuka, and a loving father of Wayne N. Karanja, Branson N. Karanja, Rowan G. Karanja and Kiera W. Karanja.

He was a cherished brother of the late Paul Mwangi, Irene Wambui, Esther Wanjiku, Daniel Muguro, and James Gachugu.

Brother in law of the late Vincent Ezekiel Kahunyo. He was also an uncle, cousin, and dear friend to many.

Meetings are being held daily at ACK St Thomas Aquinas Parish – Tena and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, 15th September 2025 at ACK St Thomas Aquinas Parish -Tena from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
