His charismatic nature impacted many lives. Until his demise he was the Principal of Garissa Academy and a devoted Patron at the Community Presbyterian Church, Madaraka.

The funeral service will be at the All Saints Cathedral, Main Sanctuary on Friday, 29th August, 2025 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The burial service will be at Trinity Fellowship, Maseno on Monday, September, 2025 starting at 10.00 a.m.

Laura was the daughter of James Onyango Oluoch and Norah Akinyi Onyango. She was the sister of Linda Awuor Onyango, Christian Oluoch Onyango, Cynthia Amondi Onyango and Andrew Odhiambo Onyango.

She was sister-in-law of John Odongo andValeriana Itenyo.

She was a doting aunt of Keenan Odongo, Suki Odongo and Liam Odhiambo.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 from 2.00pm to 4.00pm at Nkoroi Catholic Parish, Ongata Rongai, Kenya.

She will be laid to rest on Friday the 5th September 2025 at the family home in South Kanyamkago, Uriri, Migori county.
