Pastor Joyce Mmbone Sagwa Inyagwa

It is with great sorrow, yet with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Pastor Joyce Mmbone Sagwa lnyagwa who went to be with the Lord on 20th December, 2025 after a short illness.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Jotham Nyadenya lnyagwa and Mama Respah lnyagwa of Mahanga Village, Vihiga County.

Loving wife of the late Nicholas Sagwa Limanye and caring mother of Maria Shally and Jonathan Sagwa, daughter in-law of the late Hestone Limanye and Shosho Stella Vulifa Limanye, sister of Benard, Charles, Patrick, Henry, Alex, Florence, Rose and Arthur (Inyagwa’s).

Sister in-law of David, late Alex, Andrew, Henry, Jared, Eric, James, Violet, Albert, Naomi, Margaret, Roselyn, Marlene, Viva, Joseph and Isaac; Auntie of Albert, Everlyn, Nyadenya, Anyenda, Joseph, Jimmy, Petrina, Caroline, Natalie, Harris, Ethan, Renee, Betty, Dave, Dan, George, Stecy, Malaika,Worjlow and others.

The remains of the late Pastor Joyce Mmbone lnyagwa lies at Itando Funeral Home in Vihiga County.

The cortege leaves the Morgue on Thursday, 8th January 2026 for a short service at her residence in XDC Nyoritis Kitale. It leaves Kitale on the same day for overnight vigils and burial at her matrimonial home in Hamuyundi Maragoli,Vihiga County on Saturday the 10th of January, 2026.
