Patience Judith Jumwa Ponda

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Patience Judith Jumwa Ponda on 2nd January 2020 at the MP SHAH hospital in Nairobi.

Loving mother of Mohamed Amani Karega and Catherine Wanjiku Gichachi Mohamed, Lulu Amina Karega Kenji and Badi Weru Kenji, beloved grandmother of Lulu Jumwa Karega and Kai Rajab Karega, beloved sister of the late Karisa Ngala, the late Moses Kesi Ngala, the late Harry Mwavuo Ngala, the late Eric Katana Ponda of Vishakani Village, Kaloleni Sub-county.

A fundraising in Nairobi, to offset the medical bill and funeral expenses, will be held on Sunday 5th January 2020, from 2 PM at Hovans Gardens, 16 School Lane, Westlands. Contributions can also be made via Mpesa to the Paybill: 249591, Account Number: [your name].

She will be laid to rest on Saturday 11th January 2020 at the Karegas’ family home in Bububu, Mtongwe in Likoni. The funeral procession will leave Pandya Memorial Hospital mortuary in Mombasa at 9.00am.
