It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Teresia Muthoni Njuguna (Nyina wa Waithaka) of Nyamuthanga village, Kamburu, Lari, Kiambu County.

Wife of Peter Njuguna Waithaka (Retd Inspector of Schools-Gatamaiyu Zone) of Nyamuthanga village. Daughter of the late Zacharia Ndonga Miring’u and Hannah Wanai Miring’u of Mangu. Loving mother of James Waithaka Njuguna (Expeditions Maasai Safaris), the late Zachary Miring’u, Fidelis Wamaitha (Atlanta, Georgia, U. S. A), Ann Wanai Njuguna (Acacia Printers & Stationers), Margaret Wanjiku Njuguna (Acco Brands Investment). Foster mother of the late Julius Waithaka and Boniface Njoroge (Jambo Tours & Travels). Mother-in-law of Tabitha Ruguru, Effrem Beasley (U. S. A), Robert Macharia, James Kiiru (Zuku). Loving grandmother of Moreen, Peter; Vincent, Teresiah (U. S. A), Faith (U. S. A), Eliana, Leonel, Adrian and Aiden. Great grandmother of Ramsey. Sister of Njeri, Wahu, the late Alice, Philomena, Nduta, Ndonga, Kabura, Ngigi and Wairimu. Aunt and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her family home in Nyamuthanga village and at Norwich Union Towers, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Mukoe funeral home, Githunguri on 7th January, 2020 at 8.00a.m for a funeral  service at St Monica catholic church Nyamuthanga and final interment at her family home.
