Patricia Wangui Gitonga

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Patricia Wangui Gitonga, which occurred on Wednesday, I I th June 2025 at Bloom Hospital, Nakuru.

The beloved daughter of Christopher Ndumia and the late Joyce Nyaguthii Ndumia.

Wife of Henry Gitonga Mwongera, businessman- Meru.
Loving mother of Jason Murithi (Kingdom Premier International School).

Daughter-in-law of the late Jeremiah Mwongera and Dorothy Gatwiri/Margret Nyoroka of Katheri, Meru,

Sister of Bonface Githinji, Antony Gichenje and Roy Mwangi. Sister-in-law of Paul Kithinji, Jane Naitore, Robert Ochola, Charles Muriungi, Fridah  Mwendwa, Peter Kirimi, Monica Kirimi, Francis Mwiti, Becky Karwitha, Rose Kanana, Alice Githinji (G &G Advocates LLP), Clea Kendi Gichenje, Bonface Gatobu, Christol Kavata Mwangi and Jackline Nkirote.

Aunt of Pauline, Kathure, Kendi, Chris, Joy, Shervine, Samara, Shayana, Kinya, Enoch, Kimathi, Jeremy, Mugambi, Joy, Kinoti Makena, Sammy and Hennely.

Patricia’s body is lying at Cool Breeze Mortuary in Meru.

The burial will take place at Katheri, Nkiriri Village, Central Imenti, Meru County, on Friday, 20th June 2025.

Daily meetings are being held at the family home in Katheri.
