Patroba Adhawo Ayata
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Patroba Adhawo Ayata, former director of weights & measures & ICDC on Friday 13th September 2019 after a short illness.
Son of the late Adhawo Nyandeje & the late Mama Flora & Joan Adhawo. Husband of Jane Ayata formerly of African tours & Kenya High school. Father of Millicent (Geneva), Rosemary (Geneva), the late Dan, the late Paul & the late Peter, Margaret (UK) Joseph (KQ), Samuel (Presidency), John (Geneva), Linda (UK) & Joyce (Nairobi).
Brother of the late Mary Ababa, Reuben Owala, Ambiche, the late Boaz Ogone, James Nyandeje, Bertha Ouma and the late Charles Ochieng. Father-in-law of Evans Odoo, Antony Omolo, Wema Adere, Robert Odhong & Elizabeth Nzilani.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers at his residence in Kileleshwa Nairobi.
A fund raiser to offset the hospital bill and funeral expenses will be held on Friday 20th September 2019 at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 26th September 2019 at 12:00 Noon for Mass at Lavington United Church from 2:00pm.
The cortege leaves Kisumu International Airport on Friday 27th September 2019 at 2pm to ACK St Paul Nguka Church.
Burial will take place at his home in Nguka Pillage East Asembo Location, Siaya County, Rarieda Sub County on Saturday 28th September 2019.
