Paul Kagunyi Kariuki

It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. Paul Kagunyi Kariuki (Samburu County Government, Department of Water) of Maralal Milimani area Samburu County, which occurred on 18/03/2022, through a tragic road accident along Maralal – Kisima Road.

Son of the late Francis Kariuki and Miriam Wanjiru. Husband of Jane Njeri Maina. Son-in-law of the late Francis Maina Mathenge and the late Ann Wangeci Mathenge.

Father to Ann Wangeci, Pauline Wanjiru, Kariuki, Emmanuel Maina, Sarah Wanjiru and Daniel Mwaura.

Brother to Daniel Mwaura (USA), Edward Muchai (Ruiru), Joe Wainaina (USA), the late Jane Wanjiku, Joseph Kamau (Namanga), Margret Wambui (USA), Abraham Kuria (Ruiru) and Ruth Wairimu (Ruiru).

Brother-in-law to Veronica Nyambura, Ann Wambui, Paul Kigotho, the late Peter Wambugu and Simon Mugo. Grandfather to Eileen Maria Njeri and Jan Kagunyi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 7:30pm at Old Season Hotel Hall, for prayers and funeral arrangements, all are welcome.

The cortege leaves Maralal Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday the 01/04/2022 at 5.30am, for funeral service and burial thereafter at his parent’s farm in Gakoe village in Kiambu county.

We thank God for the life well lived. May God rest his soul in Eternal Peace.
