Paul Kamau Kung’u (Hethu)

1928 – 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Paul Kamau Kung’u (Hethu) on 3rd June 2021 at Gaichanjiru Catholic Mission Hospital, Muranga County.

Son of the late Kung’u Hethu and the late Nyambura Kung’u. Brother to the late Wamugwe, late Wairimu (Kanoo) and late Guchu. Husband to Monicah Njoki Kamau. Father to Jane Nyambura (Rwai), Mary Njeri (Kayole) and Dr. Eng. David Ngugi (Egerton University).

Father-in-law to Livingstone Wahome (Rwai), Fredrick VVanyoike (Kayole) and Felicina Wanjiku (Nakuru Boys High). Grandfather of Sammy, Jackson, Elizabeth, Christine, Emmah, Everlyne, Joshua, Monicah, Patricia and Ezra. Great-grandfather of 10 children.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kagumo-ini (Kiamathaju) village from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for prayers and burial preparation.

The cortege will leave Gaichanjiru Catholic Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday 11th June 2021 at 9:00 am and funeral service and burial will be on the same day at his home in Kagumo-ini village.
