Paul Mageto Oburi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Paul Mageto Oburi which occurred on 1st June 2018 at The Mombasa Hospital.

Son of the late Mzee Oburi Okong’o and Mama Yucabeth Boyani of Bonyakoni village. Masimba Sub-county of Kisii County. Son-in-law of the late Petero Aganyo Kimori and Mama Mary Nyanchama. Husband of Cecilia Mageto of Kenya School of Government, Mombasa. Father of Cheryl Kemunto (Boca), Deirdre Moraa and Jerry Clyde Aganyo. Brother of Jeremiah Nyambane, the late Jerry Oburi, Moses Ayienda, Ernest Michira, Samuel Ombati, Gilbert Ongeri, Jane Kwamboka, Ebisiba Kerubo, Martha Moraa and Alice Nyaboke. Cousin of Daniel Nchoro, Mageto (Makura),William, Meraba, Onsarigo, Mageto, Sendeu. Okong’o and Nyagaka among others. Son of the late Kieri, Makura, the late Onsarigo, Mageto, the late Moraa, the late Dorca,Yunuke, Nyamusi, Kerubo, Arasa, Nyamwaya. Ogega among others.

Brother-in-law of the late Bathsure Siocha, Pastor Dorca Ongaga, the late Noah Kimori. Damaris Omwenga, Bochere Nyang’wara, Sosthenes & Mellen Bwaganyo, Esther Nyamongo, Jane Aganyo, Carinael Mwebi, Irene Ondimu and Evans & Zipporah Aganyo. Others are John Ontonyi, Simeon Nyakundi, Jomo Ombui & Moranga, Semo of Meshack Siocha, Victor Ongaga, Jeremiah Omwenga, Rashid Nyang’wara, Samson Nyamongo,Albert Mwebi, Kennedy Ondimu.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Nyali residence in Mombasa; Nairobi and Kisii.

There will be a Funeral Service at Ziwani SDA Church, Mombasa, on Wednesday 13/06/2018 at 1pm.

The late Paul will be laid to rest on Friday 15/06/2018 at Moremani village, Masimba sub-county, Kisii.
