Loving husband of Lydia Wangui. Son of the late John Mwai and the late Wangari Tigiti: Brother of Kabiru, Gikonyo, Githiga,Wangui, Mwai, Nyaguthii the late Kibira, Kiongo, Muthoni, Karindi, Nyawira, Kanyi,Wanjiru, Ndonga, Wambui, Wangeci. Father of Mwai, Njeri, Kamau, Kibira, Wambui, Wanjiku, Mwangi, Kiongo, Muthoni and the late Wangari. Grandfather of Irene, Mwangi, Wanjiru, Mercy, Bonny, Jackline, Mahenia, Lydia, Wangari, Muriithi, Lee, Bill, Brian, Chris, Joan, Lynnete, Newton, Vivian, Mitchell and Melany. Great grandfather of Mukami,Wahome, Carrison, Calvin,Wanjiku and Njeri. Father-in-law ofWanjiku,Karaya, Kirigo, Koigi, Kaniaru, Murungaru.
