Paul Murango Warutumo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Paul Murango Warutumo, Principal, Maiella Secondary School, which occurred on Thursday 03/03/2022 at Mediheal Hospital – Nakuru, after a short illness.

He hails from Gilgil Teachers ‘B’. Son to Douglas Warutumo Murango and the late Esther Wanjiru Warutumo.

Beloved husband to Lucy Murugi Murango (Coulson Girls Secondary School).

Loving father to Darlington Warutumo, Alex Karanja, Blessing Njoroge, Shanice Wanjiru, Esther Wanjiru and Alice Wambui.

Brother to the late Jane Wanjiku, Lydia Waruguru (Engashura), Peter Njoroge (Nairobi), John Muhinja (Nairobi), Beatrice Njeri (Kinunga Health Centre) and M.C Samwel Mwangi Warutumo (Nairobi).

Son-in-law to the late Paul Karanja and Hannah Njoki Karanja. Brother-in-law to Margaret Muthoni of Kapsabet, James Macharia; Senior Chief Ndege Farm, Florence Wanjiru (Gilgil), Simon Karanja (UK), Gladys Wangari; Deputy Principal Endebess Secondary School, John Gachie (Qatar), Mary Wanjiku (Nakuru), Elizabeth Wambui (Nandi) and Stephen Njuguna (Qatar). An uncle, grandfather and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence Gilgil Teacher’s ‘B’ for prayers and funeral arrangements from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home – Nakuru – on Saturday 12th March 2022 at 7:30am for funeral service at his farm in Karate Naivasha near NYS same day and later laid to rest at 1pm.
