Lucy Njeru Kabujo (Mwalimu Lucy)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Lucy Njeru Kabujo (Mwalimu Lucy), that occurred on Wednesday, 2nd March, 2022 at Chogoria Hospital.

Daughter of the late Severino Mburia and the late Jane Kanyua.

Loving wife to Njeru Kabujo. Caring Mother to Lillian Makena and Timothy Muthomi. Mother-in-law to Raphael.

Daughter-in-law of the late Wilson Kabujo and the late Janet Mukwairu.

Sister of Kaari, Marangu, Frankline, Bob, Carol Gitonga, Fides, Mwiti and the rate Bundi.

Sister-in-law of the late Nyaga, Mbae, the late Nkonge, Veronica, the late Karimi, the late Mugambi, Pauline, Muthoni, Mbabu, Kawira Rose, the late Mukwamugo, Teresiah, Mutembei, Anita, James, Karendi, Kuthure and the late Karimi.

Grandmother of Desmond and Faustina. An aunt, cousin, colleague and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kathugune village, Tharaka Nithi County starting at 4pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Chogoria Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 11th March, 2022 at 8.00am for a farewell mass and burial at her home Kathugune village.
