Penina Njeri Githathia (Wa’Kang’ee)

We announce the death of Penina Njeri Githathia (Wa’Kang’ee) from Yamugwe Village Mugoiri Location, Muranga County on Thursday 30th May, 2019 at the Avenue Hospital, Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Thomas Kinandu and Rispah Wambui. Wife of the late Hezror Githathia Kang’ee. Daughter-in-law of the late Daniel Mbari and the late Councillor Perk Wajue. Mother of Grace Kariuki and Richard Kariuki, Susan Wambui, Peter Mbari and Ruth Wanjiku, David Kinandu and Stella Njambi and Samuel Wamae and Shareen Sidi. Grandmother of Synthia Kariuki-Morant and Alex Nyuguto, Peninah Njeri, Ashley Nyakeru, Martin Kang’ee, Bradley Kang’ee, Saheim Kang’ee, Victoria Njeri, Christian Kagwaini and Amaya Njeri and Great-grandmother of Melanie Morant and Elijah Kariuki.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home Juja Road Estate, Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements daily from 6.00pm.

Holy Mass for the late will be held at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Eastleigh on Wednesday 5th June, 2019 at 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Friday 7th June 2019 at 7.00 am and later proceed for burial at her Samary Farm, Maragwa next to Pioneer School, Murang’a County.
