Peter Gachigi Thuo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Peter Gachigi Thuo which occurred on Sunday 10th August 2025. He hails from Ikumbi Village, Kigumo, Murang’a County.

Son of the late Hon. Francis Mwangi Thuo and Milka Waithira Thuo.

Beloved husband of Lydia Wambui Gachigi. Loving father of Abigail Waithira, Winfred Muthoni and Jacinta Njeri.

Brother of John Mbugua,the late Jacinta Njeri Muturi, Ann Njoroge, Raphael Gichohi, Patrick Karanja, Wambui Wakahu and the late Jane Wairimu Thuo. tt

Son-in-law of the late Nelson Muturi and the late Helina Muthoni Muturi of Kigetuini, Gaturi Location. Brother-in-law of Makimii, Ishmael, Irungu, Wanjiru, the late Kamura, Timothy, Wanjiku, Mary, Eng. Kanyugi, the late Njoroge, Adv.Wakahu, Anne and Agnes.

Meetings are being held daily at All Saints’ Cathedral from 5:00 p.m.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, 17th August 2025 at ACK St. Matthew’s Church, Hardy — Karen, starting at 3:00 p.m.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Kabati on Tuesday, 19th August 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral service at Mwarano Secondary School Grounds (Kangari) at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at his Mwarano farm.
