Peter Mari Kagwanja

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Peter Mari Kagwanja, son of the late Geoffrey Kagwanja and Martha Kabura. Peter went to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday, 1 1th August 2025.

He is survived by his loving wife Esther Wanjiru Mari, their children Luther Muriuki Mari, Ann Kabura Mari, and Peace Mugure Mari, and his grandson David Ngunjiri Muriuki. He also leaves behind his partner, Rahab Wangui Muthoni.

Family and friends will gather for prayers and fellowship at All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi on Tuesday, 19th August 2025 and Wednesday, 20th August 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to celebrate his life and eulogise him.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary on Friday 22nd August at 0700hrs. Thereafter burial and internment will take place on the same day at his family home in Kanunga, Gatanga, Murang’a County. We kindly invite you to stand with the family in prayer and, as you feel led, through financial support to accord him a dignified send-off.
