Pharis Njihia Kwigita (Ithe Wa Igecha)

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved father Pharis Njihia Kwigita (Ithe wa Igecha) on 1st June 2019.

He was the beloved husband of the late Alice Wanjiku (Nyina wa Igecha). Son of the late Muturi Kwigita and the late Muthoni Kwigita. Adoring father to late Irene Muthoni Mwangi, the late Sarah Wangari Kamande, Paul Muturi Njihia, Samuel Mwangi Njihia, Racheal Wanjiru Mwangangi, Monica Njoki Njihia and Esther Waruguru K Kaganjo. Father in love to Jane Wanjiru Muturi, Pauline Kabura Mwangi, Alice Muringo Mwangi among others. Brother to the late Leah Wangari, the late Sifra Wanjiku Macharia, the late Monica Njoki Willie and the late Wairimu. Step brother to many. Doting grandfather and great grandfather to many.

A prayer meeting and funeral arrangement will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Friday 7th June 2019 between 5PM and 8PM.

The funeral cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 11th June 2019 at 8am for church service at ACC&S church, Ruathe- Mungaria sub-location, Ruchu location, Kandara-Murang’a County followed by burial at his home next to the church.
