Philip Mwangi Kimani (Mkulima)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Philip Mwangi Kimani (Mkulima). He hailed from Mutaro Village, Kanyenya-ini Location, Murang’a County.

Son of the late Jeremiah Kimani Wangire and the late Ruth Wambui Kimani. Loving husband of Tabitha Kahaki Mwangi. Father of Lucy Wambui, Kimani, Paul Thuo, Loise Njoki, Andrian Wangui, Nancy Wanja, and the late Samuel Kaihuri. Brother of the late Thuo, Adrian Wangui, Agnes Muthoni, Nazarine Wacuka, Naftaly Mutegi, Raphael Kibui, Mary Wanjiru, the late Njeri, the late Wanderi, and Joseph Ngugi.

Son-in-law of the late Samuel Kaihuri and the late Loise Njoki. Father-in-law of John Macharia, Mercy eWanjiru, Cecilia Wangari, Naomi Muthoni and Paul Gacheru. In-law of David Gakure, Joseph Njenga, Samuel Kinyua, Njuge, and Charles Maina. Grandfather of Brian, Maina, Njeri, Roy, Tabithajoy, Maxwell, Jeremy, Natalie, Natasha and Joan. Great-grandfather of Macharia and Wanjiru.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kanyenya-ini Mutaro village from 4:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. Kimani (Mkulima) Lhurhe cortege leaves Kangema Sub-county Funeral Home on Thursday 20th May, 2021, at 9:00am followed by a burial service at his home in Mutaro Village from 10:00am.
