Rev. Christabella Wairimu Rugu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Rev. Christabella Wairimu Rugu of Military Episcopate, which occurred on the night of Friday 14th May, 2021.

Daughter of Simon Kariuki & the late Joyce Muchiri. Wife of Major (Rev.) Martin Rugu Kahuria. A caring mother of Crystal Grace Njoki Rugu. Sister of Hannah Mwembu, Esther Ngima. Daughter-in-law of Mr and Mrs Julius Kahuria Rugu. Sister-in-law to Nelson Kahuria, Charity Nyoro, Catherine Kahuria, Abraham Kirugo, Chris Kahuria, Hellen Waruingi, Timothy Kahuria, Deflora Kangogo & Geoffrey Otieno.

A memorial service in her honour will be held on Thursday 20th May, at St Peter’s Church on the Hill [Moi Air Base], from 1100 hrs.

A requiem mass shall be held at All Saints Cathedral on Friday 21st May, 2021, at 10:00 a m. The cortege leaves Defense Forces Memorial Hospital, at 1200hrs for – the burial site at Lang’ata Cemetery, at 1300hrs.
