Placido Njeru Nkonge

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Placido Njeru Nkonge on Wednesday 8th May 2019.

Son of the late Protasio Nkonge and Cecilia Kagige Nkonge. Husband to the late Monica Mukwereri and Nancy Wanjiku. Father to Martin Gitonga and Fridah Gakii, late Kevin Mugambi, late Ian Mutugi and Justus Kariuki.

Brother of Saturnina, Satarnina, Gasperina, Colonina, Late Ronald, Didacus, and Petronilla. Son-in-law of Augustine Njue and Anastacia Igoki, Late Justus Kariuki and Late Catherine Nyambura.

Brother-in-law to Late Mutegi, Marangu, Late Njagi, Late Murungi, Late Nkirote, Kageni, Muriithi, Wahito, Ngahu, Late Waithera, Njaramba,Gathoni, Kyalo, Late Wangari, Njoki, Kariuki, Wairimu, VVambugu, Kiende, Kibicho and Nyawira. Uncle, grandfather and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mihango location-Ruai Nairobi, at his rural home in Mitheru Village Tharaka-Nithi County from 5:00pm and at St. Paul’s University Chapel Nairobi on Friday 10th, Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th May 2019 from 5:30pm to 8.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 15th May 2019 at 7:00 AM for a funeral service and burial at his rural home in Mitheru Village Tharaka-Nithi County on the same day at 11:00 AM.
