PROF. HARRIET WAMBUI NJUI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Prof. Harriet Wambui Njui of Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), which occurred at The Aga Khan University Hospital on 28th August, 2021.

She is the loving wife of Dr. Francis Njui of University of Nairobi (UoN). Mother to Felix & Rebecca Njui, Alex & Maureen Njui and Lillian Njui. Grandmother of Natasha Njui and Ryan Njui. Sister of Beatrice Wagura, Justus Mathenge, Nancy Muthoni, Timothy Mutahi, Jeniffer Wanjiru, Moses Ngunjiri, Cyrus Gitonga, Bonface Nyatha and Alice Wamucii. Beloved-in-law to Mr. & Mrs. Richard Muturi and Bishop & Mrs. Kabugi. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers from 5:30pm at St. Andrews PCEA Church, Nairobi. The cortege will leave Chiromo Funeral Home on Thursday, 2nd September, 2021, at 8.00am, for a celebration of life well lived at St. Andrews PCEA Church, at 9:00am and thereafter for a burial at the Lang’ata Cemetery.
